Okay I recently started nuvaring about 4weeks ago n 2days ago I started experiencing sharp pains in my uterus so I took it out..I had unprotected sex w my fiance the day before I took the ring out..and I am wondering why I haven't started ..I usually would start my period a day after stopping the pill ...is it different w the ring? Or is my body confused cause i took it out before I was supposed too?? Or baby???

How many weeks pp are you?? Its probably a combination of things by the sound of things.

I'm on the ring, too. I've used it for years, and my period rarely starts on the day I take it out. Usually it's a day or so after. Depends on how long your cycle is. I'd wait a couple days and test if you don't start. You may have had it out long enough to conceive.

It should start within a few days of taking it out. If it was your first cycle on the ring and you took it out early, you weren't protected at full strength, so baby is a possibility. I'd test if it isn't here by the weekend.
