when can it happen?

I am 37 weeks. I went to the doctor last week they said my cervix was softening. This week I went and they told me I was 75% effaced and 1 centimeter dilated. I have been having braxton hicks all the time for like a week now. Can I go at anytime?

    It can happen anytime or you could go overdue hun. Babies come at unexpected times unless you have a planned c section :D best of luck!

    Thanks!! I hope its gonna be soon! This is my second but with my son I was induced at 37 weeks and ended up with a c section. So I dunno what to expect this time.

    Awe good luck hun!! I have one son too, all natural delivery... painful as crap!! ahhh... I'm scared this time around haha... I want to do it natural again but boy oh boy it was painful.

    This is my second as well. I went overdue and was induced but no c section with my first, so im expecting to go overdue again. Lol doesn't bother me any. If you do go overdue though, they can't induce you because it can cause uterine rupture due to your previous c section, I do know that one for sure :D

    If you had a c section the first time, shouldn't you have a scheduled c section this time? I thought that's how it works.

    I have a c section scheduled for 39w 4d. But they will let me have a vbac if I go into labor on my own. So I'm hoping that's what will happen. :-)

    @jcmommy it depends on the type of c section that was done and which way they cut your uterus. If its from side to side you can try a vbac (vaginal birth after c section) if it was cut up and down, you must have c sections with all of your pregnancies. In her case her doctor had to have cut her uterus from side to side or she would not be able to attempt her vbac, which she is going for.

    I'm going through the exact same thing as you at the moment but I only have exactly one week to go! Also I'm slowly loosing my mucas plug! I am fed up of this slow stuff I want baby out now driving me mad lol

    Lol... I know what u mean! Are you having a boy or girl? I'm so excited to meet my little girl!! I feel like this pregnancy went by so fast. :-(

    I will be 38 weeks Monday and I'm SO ready to have this baby out already. Ugh..my older 3 were already here by now and this one is being a little slow poke, very frustrating....
