@KendylsMommy well I want something that's gonna last. I would not do good on pills. I would miss my prenatals & iron pills here & there lol but I'm really going back & forth between mirena & implanon.
It didnt hurt when I got mine put in... I got mine put in on nov 8 and im still bleeding thats the only this I can say about it really. Other then that I love it
I had mine put in at 6 weeks pp and I love it. My first two periods on it were crazy bleeding one day none the next but now no more period now. There was cramping while getting it put in but not terrible. I dont feel it at all now.
I had mine put in the begining of november i spotted for about a week an stoped bleeding an i hvnt bled since. It didnt hurt when i got it put in but i cramped for the whole day aftr it was placed.. i hvnt had any problems with it at all. Only problem ive had is my husband can feel the strings poke him when we hav sex, but thats it. I think its defntly worth it. I love mine
I had it for two years. I loved it at first but then it started tearing and was super painful. Also caused really bad mood swings. From what I've heard if you haven't had children its a bad choice but for women that have children it works well. Good luck!
I had it for the full 5 Yrs. No issues or complications! No periods... nothing! I Just got another one in September and I'm living it again so far. Just cramps on and off.
I had got mine inserted yesterday , I thought the ob wasn't going to be able to do it because I had my period heavy the odds were that he had no problems doing it while bleeding (sorry if tmi) it did hurt a little but no nothing that isn't tolerable. The pain after hurts more than actually putting it in .. its like strong cramps. I was really surprised how my period went from heavy to spotting so quickly.
I had mine for five years. I loved it. The first six months I spotted on and off, then no periods. Unfortunatly I had to have it surgically removed because the strings broke, but it wasn't bad.
Google 'mirena crash' when i had mine removed i bled so bad for 3 weeks i felt like i was gonna die. I had a couple days where i had to just sit on the toilet for a couple hours because there was no point in getting up, i was bleeding so heavy! I was bleeding heavy and passing large clots. It was a nightmare... However, i have very heavy periods and the mirena made them lighten up sooooo much i would probably consider getting it again just for that reason alone. I had it in for one yr and removed one yr ago and we r ttc w NO luck... Um hoping i didnt mess myself up getting mirena!
I had the same problem with the bleeding after it was removed. I had no idea that it was common. Also ttc with no luck. It has been out for 15 months but only ttc for 7 months
