@juliansmommy well there's a bf category & not ALL of us bf. plus we NEED support also when other people are downing us for feeding OUR child. At least their not starving. Lol plus I TRIED bf id did NOT work for me
@txmommy93011 and I want to add I've done both. Exclusive breast feeding and a few first feedings breast, then the rest formula, and exclusive formula...and ALL of my kids are EQUALLY healthy!! :-)
@ta2edblondie yes my son's been on 3 different formulas before we FINALLY found the right one. Lol
@CristinaLynn which did you like better? Or it was the same to you? I was determined to bf but at the hospital his blood sugars were dropping fast so the nurses gave him formula then I went back to bf & he has a milk allergy so he would projectile vomit. & his old pedi didn't even tell me to cut dairy out so I ff but I'm glad he's healthy lol
@txmommy93011 honestly there wasn't much of a difference for me lol. The bond was exactly the same, I was feeding my baby, whether from my body or not. Breastfeeding was cheaper lol that's the only difference for me :-p
it did not work for me either. My daughter is fine but my son has asthma and gets sick easily(think its from daddy tho lol) so I wanna try breastfeed my daughter because i heard it helps. If it doesn't work out I'll be formula feeding again. I don't think theres anything wrong with it and people shouldn't make us feel like its a bad thing.
I agree, I'm ebf but there are a lot of questions that I see that formula feeding mom's ask. Like what kind of formula, how to switch if you have too, what helped with reflux and so on. I see nothing wrong with formula feeding, it's the parents choice and sometimes medically needed, and so on.
