Need HELP!

I am 1 week and 4 days to my due date. I was just making love to my SO and I had the strongest contraction had so far and my Tuesday appointment I found out that I am 75 % effaced. I don't know if I am going into and leading up to active labor possibly. Like I said before I had the strongest contraction I have had by far and lasted four and half minutes while he was still inside ( sorry about the strong details) and then I feel my baby make a huge drop and my stomach feels increasly heavier and I am carrying lower. Could I have thinned out more and be heading into starting to dialate and active labor? I have not felt this way before! HELP PLEASE because this is my first baby and I am so scared, nervous, and anxious right now!

    Well the baby could have very well dropped but just try and relax bc even if labor is starting it might take awhile u need the contractions to continue for at least an hour and have them be every 2 to 3 minutes apart and they will also her stronger as the time goes by. This is the best way to know if it is time to go in unless your like me which I had contractions the night b4 then my water broke the next morning and the contractions started to be regular and I monitored them for like 3 hrs before I went in plus I knew if u know its time which it will just hit u its a natural feeling, I would shower and eat and her some water in because once u get to l&d u can't do any of that most of the time until after u have the baby... Just keep an eye on everything good luck!

    My aunt is 100% effaced and 2cm dialated and she's been this way for 2 1/2 wks. She's been having contractions but been stuck. You never know. It could be but also a chance its not. Everybodys body is different.

    My aunts been stuck since 36+4. Now she's 39. Her drs on vacation until the 2nd wk of jan. The other drs in the office wont do anything for her and her burn scars are ripping because her skin can't stretch.
