postpartum bleeding TMI

I had my son four weeks ago by c-section, I only bled very lightly (only needed to wear a panty liner) for a week after having him. Last week I started bleeding again very heavy but it only lasted one day. During that day I passed a few half dollar sized clots. Yesterday I started bleeding again...but VERY heavy this time to the point where I cannot keep up with it and I'm constantly leaking through my pants. This morning I woke up and had a few good sized clots in my underwear and when I sat down a clot the size of the palm of my hand came out and now I'm having pretty bad cramps. Is this normal!?

I don't think so but everyone's body is different. But call your doctor anyway!!! I was told if I could fill a pad in a hour to call.

My doctors office is closed weekends. What could it be? Should I call L&D and see what the on call Dr tells me to do or can it wait till Monday?

Now I'm scared lol. Guess I better go clean up and get my butt over to the hospital. Wish me luck!
