Hi everyone, I am 9 weeks pregnant its my first time being a mum I have had period like cramps since I found out. I suffer anxiety and my best friend would have been 6 weeks but sadly lost it over new year now I am worried about my pains it was a shock not seeing anything on the screen. Can anyone help please need advice on the pains I have been having should I go to the doctors? X

  • Cramping is normal that early jus watch for any bleeding
  • Cramping can be normal because ur uterus is growing. As long as ur not bleeding bright red with it ur fine. Good luck hun
  • I felt like i was gonna have my period for first few months more than even when i actually get a period and my boy is now two months old so it does happen in healthy pregnancies! I also suffer from anxiety and recommend the angel sounds doppler i got one so i could hear babies heart beat from 12 weeks and it calmed me blot and i never had a problem finding baby. And like the others say just no blood is fine! X love
  • Lol sorry for the love at the end, silly phone!
  • Thanks helps alot I have actually ordered a doppler excited to get it. I have no bleeding I check all the time. I try not to worry my self I have nurse tomorrow for flu JAG has anyone had it x
  • Don't be nervous if you can't pick anything up on the Doppler. The one in my drs office wouldn't pick up my baby until 16 weeks!
  • Like everyone has said as long as no bleeding, cramping can be perfectly normal, I cramped a lot too & am now 37+4 so try not to worry (easier said than done I know)

I had flu jab a few weeks back & had no bad effects at all :)
  • I had bad cramps with my son..no bleeding I'm having cramps now I'm 8 weeks 6 days
  • Thanks a lot ladies Yeh I read up on doppler about maybe not picking it up.
  • I had cramping basically my whole pregnancy and have a healthy baby girl
  • Was at doctor today they said its totally normal. Got my first scan on the 23rd so am looking forward to that. Xx
