Corri started crawling on her hands and knees today. She's not even 6 months old yet. This is the earliest any of my kids started crawling. Too big, too fast. When did your babies start crawling?
I have a friend who's 5 month old just started crawling. My son was 6 months. My daughter is 8 months and is rocking on her hands and knees, just about to crawl, but hasn't done it yet.
@MrsThompson34 These are in no way happy tears. The more I think about it, the more upsetting it is. What about walking? She will probably start before 12 months. And she probably still be toothless.
You never know. Although mine isn't crawling quite yet, she has been extremely clingy the last week or so. She wants my undivided attention the second I get home from work and if I'm not by her side or holding her, she is pissed off! Haha. I love it, but hate it at the same time. I love that she misses and adores me, but I hate that I can't get things done!
@LilSugarsMomma She has always been clingy, since day one. And I'm a stay at home mom, so I get tons of time with her. Atleast with her army crawl I could still hold her. Now she just wants to explore. She brought me a piece of cereal that was on the floor and turned away to go find other things to do.
My Allie (3) started crawling the day before Christmas when she was 5&1/2 months. And started walking a month later! It was the weirdest thing to see a tiny little human walking around! They grow way to fast!!!!
@Fate Lmao! Oh, and the looks you get in public. One person said to me " why would you have her walking so young". As if I were massaging her calves with buttermilk or something! lol
And there will still be cuddles! Think of all the moments to come when you have to restrain her! And the more active they are the sleepier they get, sometimes!!!!
@mom924 I haven't heard of anyone walking that early except for my MIL. Hubbys grandma said his mom started walking at 6 mo. Crazy! But, she's the smartest person I've ever met! Maybe you have a lil genius on your hands too!
@Fate I feel ya. I want to cry too. I have the absolute hardest time with my kids growing up.
My daughter isn't even 4 months yet and is sitting up and at the very early stages of crawling... Her daddy was crawling at 4 months, maybe its just in the genes
@fate I know how you feel I'm torn too but so excited to see my baby grow up and for her to be happy just remember no matter how old she gets she's always gonna need her momma and hold on to this moment she's still a baby and before you know it she will be that teenager who drives you crazy
My oldest Tristen was 7 months walking but NEVER crawled. Treyton my middle son was 9 months crawling and 15 months walking. Alex was 26wks premature and started crawling at 7 months but didn't walk till he was 18 months.
