  • Omg ur so lucky I wish I have done that!
  • That's rad! It's stuff like that, that makes me want a 3rd baby but I'm fixed now. I'm not in any position to have anymore either, especially after all my issues while pregnant with my last. Do you have a preference as to the sex of bebe?
  • BOY. It better be.......!
  • LOL. Well, lots of blue baby dust to you!!

  • @ashleyfew I had to get ultrasounds at 5 weeks pregnant, 3 months, 5 months, 8 months and 9 months. I was freaking out thinking how that was going to affect my baby because I heard of the risks if done too often. I had no choise though because I was high risk and he was huge!!! Lol.

I guess just look into it more carefully, I would personally be very hesitant to get them done that often.
  • @ashleyfew, @Noahsmommy Getting them! :D Because my doctor AND the ultrasound tech says it's perfectly fine and that no study has been conclusive to say that it's harmful. :) My baby will be safe.
  • No study has been conclusive saying its safe either, i would not risk it, if anything came out wrong with baby, I would blame myself for being selfish and putting my wants before baby's needs, but thats just me, i'll be praying for the safety of your unborn, good luck!
  • @Kimberly4411 :O I am not selfish, and I certainly didn't ask for opinions. Please keep these sort of comments off of this thread, thank you. :)
  • O nono, you're allowed to put your opinions on someone else's parenting, but i can't put what i think on this? [-( I don't know where you live but where i live there is this thing called freedom of speech, i wont be commenting nor opening your thread anymore simply because i dont care :)>-
  • @Kimberly4411 Lmao... You're questioning my parenting? :)) Over an an ultrasound thread? :)) Freedom of Speech yourself onto a thread that is due for opinions, this one is not. :) Thanks. ;))

4 places the SAME drama was brought to. LAME, ladies. Very lame.

When I was pregnant I had one at 9,10, & at 12 Weeks :) I was high risk... Then I had it again at 16, 17 & 21 Weeks. Then at 28 I got a 4d done :x but starting at 32 Weeks I was in & out the hospital twice a week for nst's & every Tuesday they gave me an Ultrasound to find out how big Nyla was due to me having diabetes & to see if I had enough fluid BC it would go up & down. I had alot & my baby was fine!!! & with all the ultrasounds Nyla still had the cord wrapped around her neck twice so if I can get an Ultrasound im going for it & my friend works at kaiser hospital & she got Ultrasounds almost every week with her two kids & they were fine :)
  • @MrsThompson34 Were you super excited each time, or did the excitement die down at all? I had a 4D done with my last baby. I LOVED IT!
  • I was super exited each time BC each week she would get a lil bigger n would do crazy things on the screen haha. I have a photo album just for my Ultrasound pics n I love to flip thru it when I can & its awesome :x
  • Lol & I would ask the tech each time can I have a pic of her feet BC they always give me the head, then Weeks after ill ask for the hands lol... I love my baby & even tho I had such a ruff pregnancy im glad God gave me a chance to experience motherhood :)
  • @MrsThompson34 I am definitely getting tons of foot shots!
  • I went every week starting at 20 weeks. What an album I have!
  • I wouldn't do it. Who knows the risks. Studies have to be done though. I'd just be less excited over it and cautious.
  • I had to get weekly ultrasounds. Not by choice, but because i was high risk. My baby turned out perfect!
  • Geez oh Pete, everything you do in your day to day life causes risks for everyone and everything. You could eat something bad from somewhere good, you could get hit by a car walking to your mailbox, you could cause harm by simply breathing. Seriously, there is always going to be someone to judge your choices when it comes to your baby. People, I'm sure if there were serious risks associated with ultrasounds, they wouldn't be offered to begin with. Can't us adults make choices based off our own beliefs without scrutiny from those that see things in a different perspective? If you don't like what she's doing, then look away. It's not like she's saying she's going to throw her baby off a balcony or something. If she's putting her baby at risk, then what's it to you?? You don't know her, its not your baby, and it sure as hell isn't your place to judge, so stop.
  • Just want to stop n say that I had to for weekly to get my baby checked due to my problems and I went every week on Wednesday from 16 weeks to 33 weeks when I delievered and they never said anything about it harming the baby!!
  • I agree with @lilsugarsmomma ! I had them done often cuz I had complications plus a lady I used to baby sit for is an ultra sound tech and teaches at one of the colleges near here so she loved doing scans on me and would use the pics for her classes. She needed the scans for class demonstrations and scanning a friend was easier for her than having to go to the hospital to find a random person and have some stranger sign a bunch of consent forms. My baby is totally fine. I did get a little bored at the end though because I couldn't really tell what anything was even if they told me cuz he was too big to get a fun picture.
  • U lucky. I don't need one every week, just wish that I could have more than two my entire pregnancy... Especially when they were only gonna give me one till I asked for the nuchal! Lol
  • Thanks ladies! Only two more days and I can start posting the pics! :)

  • @sohiasmom11 That's what I plan on doing. My sister had ultrasounds A LOT, with both of her kids because of her tilted uterus, and they are SMART. She has a huge album of all of the pictures. At least 75 for each kid!
