My lo will be 3mo next week and I just got her one. I can't wait to put her in it. She loves sitting on my lap and looking out at everything, so I'm sure she's gonna love it
I've known a lot of people who kind of used it as an excuse too put their very tiny babies in it and walk away. It's not a secure device, and babies can flip out of it.
Bumbo's are pretty wicked though! I too had a Fatty legged baby so she didn't use it a whole lot... I'm going to use it again for number two. Maybe he or she won't be so chubby legged lol They are really good for if you want to have a shower with your babe (Read a thread on it ) I also have a really big counter so I would shove it too the back of the counter in the corner, my daughter would sit in it (WHILE I WAS RIGHT THERE!! LOL) and I used to make my fondant for cakes. She loved just sitting and watching me. Now she's too busy trying to stand... apparently I'm not so cool any more lol Unless she wants a snuggle cause she's tired.
@newmomma13 I would never leave my baby unattended but I can never make sure that the babysitter or bf will, they can say they will but once I walk out that door its outta my hands and that worries me
