I just got it december 28 , & im still bleeding , I no thats normal but wat abt me not being able to feel the strings ! I neva been able to feel the strings from the jump , so I mean wat shuld I do . Im jus a lor wrried I had my daughter in november an I dnt want any anytime soon. So tell me yur experience pleaseeee ! I called my doctor he tld me not to wrry he will check me NEXT WEEK , uggg .

    I hated it! I never knew when my period was coming. I had it for a yr and my period never got light. It came whenever, wherever. I also had a horrible pain on my left side from it. I hope it works out better for you!

    I can't really help but Im pretty much in the same situation. I had my son September 25 and got the mirena put in the 27th of dec I been bleeding since the 25th :/ and hasn't stopped either . I wake up everyday with cramps and never was able to feel my string.. my appt is next Tuesday

    This scared me to cause i get pain on my left side as well .. nothing I can't tolerate though I'm thinking about taking it out and getting on the pill or depo

    @mommysbambino aww , update me an let me no how it goes . Maybe it might make me feel betta . And yeah mr too with the cramps . But I no that part is normal. My doct told me expect that.

    My.Dr tried to say it was a nerve in my back from straining to lift my son...no, I never had the pain again after I had it removed. And, I don't know about the strings, I always forgot to check them

    Mirena is a nightmare in my opinion. I cant beleive u girls r bleesing soooo long after getting it in. Hmmm... I just spotted very lightly after it was put in. I bled for like 20 days very very very heavy a few days after i got it removed. I spotted the whole yr i had it. My periods did get lighter which was the only good part. I git it out a yr ago and we have been ttc since. I hope it didnt mess me up so bad i cant have another baby. :(

    @cute_pebbles I definitely will :) I wish my doc was more detailed . I heard the depo makes people gain weight, and I can't afford to gain weight Lol not after the 20 extra pounds my son left on me. I was on the pill at one point but i began loosing hair :/ its like you damn if you do you damn of you don't. Do you long how long are we suppose to bleed for?

    i got my mirena put in in oct, i spottd for mayb a week aftr it was placed an i hvnt bled since. smetimes aftr my husband n i hav sex i spt very lightly but not heavy enough to get on my panties. i hvnt had any periods or cramps. i love my mirena. good luck to u

    @kendylsmommy , wow I will go read it , :( im srry . U culdnt feel the strings ? Wow it culdve stabbed yur heart :( ugggg . And @mommysbambino for like a month an spot here an there up to 4 months . Im reaching the spotting stage because I def dnt full up a,pad like I used to.

    Had my daughter August 9th got my mirena Sept 16 bled till November 30th thats the day I took it out and stopped bleeding that day now I only bleed when af is in town I hated that thing plus always made me tired cranky and crampy

    I love my mirena. I got it like 7 weeks ago and i bleed on and off. I have a tilted uterus so i really have a hard time checking my strings. I have an appt in the next few weeks to follow up and learn how ti check the strings. Good luck hun,hope u learn to love yours!

    Hated mine I almost had to have mine removed surgically as well.. luckily I didn't but I could not feel mine my periods sucked and I hurt so bad.
