really gassy baby pls help

my 3 month old has the worst gas ever i can fart like 40 times in a row and they even sound hard and painful his tummy rumbles and he starts screaming at the top of his lungs i try gas drops but it doesnt seem to work or fast enough help me pls

    @squrit299 i uesd those it didnt seem to work but mybe i wasnt giving it to him rite am i only pose to give it to hin when he has the gas at that moment or every so many hours or every so many feedings whether he is gassy or not to prevent the gas ?

    @paige11 u give it to him after every feeding even if he's not gassy bit if he's gassy at night just Do it at night the drops. And if its the day do it during the day if he's not gassed during the day then don't give it during the day

    Try the sensitive. We switched to that and it was a huge difference

    I agree try Similac Sensitive that should help him a lot.

    My son had really bad gas he'd cry everytime he farted because he was in so much pain. Sometimes he would cry for hours, I felt sooo bad for him. He's now on Enfamil Gentlease for gas and fussiness and he no longer has any gas issues. Also, after you shake his bottle open it up for a few seconds that will let the air out.

    My son was the same way. He is on Similac had to switch to similac Alimentum and switch his bottles to drop-ins. He couldn't handle powder formula either so I have to hive him the ready to feed one which is super expensive. Also Gripe Water worked really well also. I got the mothers bliss one. The gas drops didn't work for him at all

    My daughter was the same. We put her on Similac Sensitive and it got a little bit better. We use equate gas drops (sold at Walmart) from the makers of Mylicon and for some reason they worked better than Mylicon.

    Honestly, it could be a number of reasons why your baby has gas: bottle, something you're eating or drinking is upsetting his stomach (BF), he can be allergic to dairy. I would eliminate BF and start him on Similac Sensitive. If after a week it continues your doctor might put him on Alimetum formula, it's for babies that are allergic to dairy. Good luck!

    Try some baby massage too there are videos on you tube and you just move their legs about and stuff, they like it after a while x

    Try holding his legs up, kinda move them like a bicycle motion. Also massage his tummy. My daughter was gassy we did switch formula but until it took effect, which was a day or two I did these things it helped. Or even diluted Apple juice not alot but it may help to loosen things up a bit.

    I get the formula from babies r us but the also have it Walmart and Target. The gripe water also at Walmart and walgreens . Playtex drop ins is a bottle with a bag it eliminates the air. Try googling it so you can see a picture

    @Paige11 try similac alimentum formula. My daughter was really bad with gas. All she did was scream and cry. Dr told us to use that formula and with in a week there was a amazing difference in her. We still use gas drops to. I would try this formula it's exspensive but it works for her.
