When i pump nothing comes out and i went to a wic appointment today for a breastfeeding assesment and she tested the pump my cousin is letting me use and said that the suction isnt consistent amd its a hazard. She deemed it a hazard cuz the wires on the cord are showing and she also said the motor is going out She told me not to pump at all untill my breasts heal and just hand express like ive been doing. Told me to ask my ob about domperidone and i did but she doesnt perscribe it so i called my family.doc and hes supposed to get back with me. I hope he lets me have it cuz she said im a prime canidate for it and it will def help me without any side effects.
The fenugreek gave me heartburn but made me use the bathroom regularly lol..ive been constipated since my son was born.. she also said if i can get my supply up then she will issue me a pump from wic which ill have to give back when im done. I planned on bf-ing him untill he was at least 6 months and hes two months now. Im loosing time also said pumping 8x a day is wayy to much. I knew it was.. she said for me 4 is good when i can pump again. 8x a day can damage breast tissue and i think thats what happened in the beginning. My breast issues now are because he didnt latch right and i didnt break suction properly.
