bath time... been doing it wrong this whole time?

this may be a dumb question but how do u give ur lo a bath? i was reading her bath wash and found that every bottle says to put a capful in the bath and wash that way. do u use soapy water or soap on a washcloth?

    Soap on a washcloth but if I use the bedtime bath I put a capful in the water and then wash him down with another bodywash on a wash cloth.

    OK that's what I do I don't think she would be clean enough if I just use soapy water. I wanted others opinons BC I never thought to not use soap on a wash cloth until I was randomly reading one of her washes

    I've always used soap on a washcloth with both my kids. I feel they are getting cleaner that way

    I also use soap on washcloth it helps to get into those cute little rolls lol :)

    I use a extra small puff wit soap I love how soapy it gets lol

    I use soap on washcloth for both my kids.. I just feel that I'm cleaning them more that way lol..
    I just realized I pretty much said the same thing sands3 said lol

    I just lather her up with my hands and use a washcloth around her ears and neck, face..didn't know about the whole capful thing :/

    Even the aveno wash says capful glad Iam not the only one who didn't know. I kinda was feeling bad that she is six months and Iam just now reading the back of her wash

    @Janet_2011 I think there both equally just as clean but i'd preffer the soap & washcoth method too :)

    I put a cap full in her bath, but then put more on her washrag. She probably pee's in that water (idk for sure) but if she does, I don't want to use pee soap to clean her.
