Wish people would just butt out
Why is it, as soon as you have a baby everyone feels this great need to impart knowledge as to how you should raise your baby or ask stupid questions? & why do I have to justify my choices? It's driving me insane & just feel the need to vent!!
I hate how I keep getting asked "is he good?" What exactly does that even mean? Just because he cries & doesn't sleep great yet (hes not even 5wks old) does that mean he's bad?! No it just means he's a baby!
Why should I have to justify why I don't swaddle him - he doesn't like it so why should I force it, because you did it to your kids & it made them sleep longer? Great if it worked for you but my son hates it & I personally think going 2-3hrs between feeds & sleeping well in between isn't too bad going.
Gee thanks for going out & buying me pacifiers without me asking you to & then demanding to know why I'm not using them. Well actually I'm breastfeeding & its not recommended until they're older so as to avoid confusion.
No, no matter how many times you tell me & nag my partner, we're not going to buy bottles & formula 'just in case' or so I can have a break at night, I want to breastfeed, I understand its hard & tiring & I won't get much of a break but its short term, will give him the best start & I'm lucky in not having to go back to work til he's 10months old.
Feel slightly better for having got this off my chest & thanks if you've taken the time to read

I went thru the same stuff with my mom nagging me..especially about the bottles and organic formula! I'll admit I almost caved one night when I was having some latch problems coupled with lack of sleep..but my hubby talked me down and helped me thru it! After that night I threw the formula away!
