time to ditch the baby weight!!!

I need help ladies!! iv never been skinny but im sick of being so fat! I dont wanna b a fat mummy! ideas on diets and ways to loose weight wanted pls...

  • I have personally never tried it but I know someone that lost 60lbs in 2 months on the grapefruit diet. You can Google it but from my understanding you just eat a grapefruit/drink grapefruit juice with each meal (they tell you the meals) and loose weight. Tmi but the girl I know that did it said she could see the fat in toilet gross I know but if it works...
  • I used to weigh 325lbs. That's tge same way I felt...I had my daughter and felt like I don't want to be tge fat mom(my mom is big almost 400lbs and always has been) I was kinda embarrassed when my friends saw her bc they would ask why she was so big etc. So after my daughter I decided to lose it. I went from 325 to about 170 (I'm 5'8" so I thought that is a good size for me,plus I wanted to be healthy and didn't do it to be skinny just healthy) so anyway...I did it by eating tge food pyramid. I modified it slightly. I made sure I ate my fruits and veggies at the recommended amount. I really only changed tge carbs/grains category. I reduced it to 4 a day from 9 to 12. Also carbs are whole grain or whole wheat. Any kind of dressing or topping like sour cream would be light. If you follow it, its actually alot of food...I felt like I was always eating...just ate more thru out the day. If you get in all your fruits I actually found I really didn't crave candy pr chocolate. I also believe if you have a craving like choc or ice cream eat it but make sure you measure portions ie: half a cup of ice cream as a serving and it does hit tge spot and you aren't overdoing it. Alot of it opens your eyes when you look at what a portion is and how much you should actually be eating. Its hard at first but keep at it. All together I lost about 150lbs...it took about a year but its worth it bc now I'm not tge fat mom and feel proud to go places with my kids:)
  • Iv been on a diet for seven weeks and lost almost twenty five pounds so far. Fad diets never worked for me so I went to a group and basically its common sense, no fat, plenty of fruit fish and veg, no fried foods and exercise. I jog for an hour five days a week but I also make it dun like dancing with my baby or tidying with a rhythm lol! Also try swapping meat for quaorn and using herbs and spices instead of fat and oil. Good luck momma, I feel brill already and still got ti lose twenty pounds :)
  • After I had my son in July, I breastfed him as much as I could until I had to give him formula. Then I started exercising. Eating breakfast is possibly one the best thing you can do! I was making smoothies along with a super high protein breakfast(tuna salad,2 boiled eggs, grilled asparagus), and then exercised, and watched what I ate. Also switching from regular oil that you cook with you should use Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and get some Unrefined Organic Coconut oil..eat 1-2 tablespoons a day, and it burns belly fat. Now that's I'm pregnant again I'm going to do the same thing after this baby. I lost so much weight before I got pregnant again just from eating a high protein breakfast, and exercising.

    I find it tough cos of havin little one and being back at work so i kind of eat on the go and never seem to have time to exercise! i have to do this tho! i want to loose around 100lb!!
