Miscarridge...

edited March 2011 in Pregnant
When does miscarridge become less of a worry, around what month can you call it safe?

If you have had a loss, how far along were you if you don't mind sharing?

Sorry for all your losses<3

That's true. I just saw my baby for the first time a couple days ago, everything is perfect but I stress alot so it worries me. I'm about to be 12 weeks though. Thanks so much!
  • Awe Chelcie89, that's extremely close.
I'm sorry and wish you the best.

Does it just happen or does it happen in like a week?
  • Mine was very fast they are all different mine I was spotting the night of the 16th very light pink went to the er they did blood test said everything looked fine but I could go to my doctor in the morning to be sure so I did and they checked for a heartbeat found it and said everything looked great but to take it easy till the spotting stopped so me and my mom went to walmart for a few things first.. and I went into labor my water broke right in the middle of walmart but it was blood not water luckly I had on a pad so I went to the bathroom and my mom went and bought some pads so I had a clean one while we ruushed back to my doctor but I knew it was all over at that point
  • Oh and thanks I just keep praying everything goes good this time
  • Awe /:
    I can't imagine how you feel/felt.
Well I pray this little one is fine!
  • Yah it was really hard but it gets easier with time but I will never forget my little angel I know he/she is watching over me and this baby
  • I lost my first baby in October of 2008 at 8 weeks, and my second in April of 2009 at 5 weeks. My first one was slow...like a week of light pink spotting. They found a heartbeat at week 7 while doing an internal ultrasound due to the spotting, & a week later they checked again & the heartbeat was gone. I had to have a DNC three days later. My second baby went fast & I lost her at home - miscarried naturally. Now I'm at 23 weeks on my third pregnancy, & so far so good, but I still worry everyday.
  • I lost my first at 8 wks 5 days. I had very painful cramps all day and then that evening started spotting and then bleeding alot so I went to the er and miscarried later that night there. It was so sad, the whole fetus came out intact. I will never forget seeing that.I have since had a successful pregnancy that gave me my beautiful little girl(8months). Now inthe first tri w/ second and praying everything works out
  • I had mine as 6w2d I was still early. But it started off just spotting. I went to the er and they did an internal and external ultrasound. They said that It was just threatened. Well the next day I wasn't bleeding as bad... the day after that it was Horrible. I was at work. I felt my panties get wet and was like that's not right I went to the bathroom and it was nothing but blood went to the er and they conformed I lost the baby. That was february 1st. Horrible cramps for days. I lost so much blood I almost had to get a blood transfusion..
  • I do have cramping and stretching, but as far as I'm told it's normal. But no blood. I just worry because I'm tiny, previous cancer patient, have one kidney, and I carry cancer cells in my uterus.
  • Lost my bby girl at 20 weeks I was leaking clear fluid and went to doc and er and they say it's nothing woke up for work about 2 weeks later and was bleeding alot they induced my labor and that was it im now prego 6 weeks and hoping everything goes well
  • I was 9 weeks 6 days when I had my m/c last november. I got pregnant again about a month later. Ill be 13 weeks tomorrow and I'm still so nervous everyday, I don't know that I've ever prayed this much. I haven't had any symptoms but being tired. But at my ultrasound last Monday I got to see the baby moving around and hear its heartbeat so hopefully everything goes good!
  • I don't mind sharing and I hate to have to tell you this, but I was almost 41 weeks when my first child, Victoria, died last July. So I wouldn't call any month "safe". But keep in mind that it is pretty rare for babies to die at the last minute like that so it's not likely to happen to you. If you were to experience such a tragic loss at 20 or more weeks, then it would be called a stillbirth. I'm 11 weeks now and after what I've been through, I won't think I'm out of the woods until my baby is in my arms looking back at me. Then I guess I get to be paranoid about SIDS...it never ends. :(
  • Yeah I understand. Thank you all. I guess all we can do is pray and hope for the best. It's definitely very hard, and I hope to never go through that. My mother had two miscarridges before I was born.

Fingers crossed, for all our babies!
