I have hypothyroidism. I am 13 weeks pregnant now. I think as long as you have it under control it won't cause any problems with pregnancy. I just have to take the same thyroid medicine I have been taking (synthroid) and get my levels checked every 3 months. I did have a miscarriage last year but my doctor didn't seem to think it was related.
I have hypothroidism for 6 years now and I have 2kids and now I'm pregnant again with my third..my kids are fine.. she have to keep up with her meds and her Dr..she should be fine
I had graves disease which is hyperthyroidism. I had my thyroid removed in 2006. I take meds now, got pregnant in Jan 2011 & delivered a healthy baby boy in Oct. They did have to up my dosage quite a bit so make sure to have levels tested and keep up on meds.
