  • They will probably sleep most the way. I would feed right before you leave. then stop half way and take them out of the car seat so they can stretch and possibly eat again.
  • Thanks thats kind of what I was thinking! Just needed reassurance! @ashley_smashley he is eating now and we will be leaveing soon!
  • 4 hours is nothing ;) I feed before we go, change diaper and GO. I don't stop unless they get fussy, which hasn't happened on a 4hr trip yet.
  • I went on an 8 hr trip when she was 5 months. If they're set in a sleep schedule, I'd try to wake them to leave early in the morning, so it doesn't mess them too much.
  • My lo is 5 months n we just went on a 10hour trip, we traveled at night, left at bed time, n it worked grate
  • I took my daughter, then 4 weeks, out of state to my family, and it was a 4 hour drive. She slept the entire way. Your babe should be fine!
  • For long road trips like 7-8 hours, I leave at night. That's the best and most relaxing time. :)
  • I just moved from california to georgia! Baby did great and slept a good chunk of the drive.
  • My husband and i took scarlett on a 16 hour road trip when she was 5 months old! She did great! Slept most of the ride (at night) then we took a 4 hour trip to wyoming a few weeks ago, she did fine!
