Measuring over?

I'm 38+5 weeks pregnant and have been measuring 2 weeks ahead since 26 weeks. I know this could be for a number of reasons but i just wanted to know from anyone else who measured ahead during there pregnancy, what weight was your baby when they were born and did you go early or past your due date? Thanks.

P.s Finished up work yesterday i am now officially on maternity leave and wont be back at work till May 2013!!!! Such a weird feeling! :-D

    Evie was measuring 2 weeks ahead and was born ob her due date, weighing 8lbs 12. Good luck hon!

    My sis measured big and the first thought was diabetes but I'm sure you tested for all that. Hers ended up twins. My friend was measuring a few weeks ahead and her son was born at 10 lbs 11 ounces. So it could mean just a little bigger baby. I'm usually under and my kids have all been 7 lbs or less...this pregnancy tho I have been right on or a week ahead so I'm wondering if this one will be bigger too.
    Hopefully your baby won't be too big, I'm sure if your about two weeks ahead it shouldn't be too bad. I've also noticed that when I go each midwife measures different...I had the same one two weeks in a row and both times I was right on, the other one did it I was a week ahead. The one that was right on she told me she measures three times just to make sure so I don't know.

    I had am u/s yesterday and baby was guestimated to be 3 lbs 11oz. I'm 30w 4d. she said he was measuring a few days ahead.
    Lucky duck! To bad the states don't get maternity leave for a year darn it!

    I measured 3 weeks over with my first and was induced at 41 weeks. Measured behind with my second and delivered at 38wk6days. :)

    I was being told I measured small and was sent for growth scans and all sorts, it was awful, they really scared me. But he was 7lbs 7oz at 40+2 when he arrived and is putting on weight like a trooper now, he is 75%ile for weight and 91%ile for height! My 'tiny' baby isn't so small after all! Try not to worry about it, measuring the belly isn't an exact science and is often very wrong!

    I was told i was having small baby coz i aslways measured a few weeks behindhad growth scans every two weeks. I went 16 days overdue and was tild when they did a scan while i was in labour she was only 5 pounds!! she arrived an hour later weighing 8lb 3.5 oza healthy weight but she was tiny. they checked her weighed 3seperate times jus to make sure. so i wouldnt worry as they really can get it wrong x

    I measured ahead! at 38weeks scan they said baby was 9lb!!! he was born 7lb 13oz they can b way out!!

    I measured spot on until the last week; I measured a week ahead. I had a growth u/s at 37+5 he was guesstimated to be 8lbs 6oz. I was induced 41+3 and he weighed 9lbs 9oz. I just had a big baby.

    I managed to measure small, spot on & ahead depending on who measured me!! My boy was born at 40 + 6 & was 8lb12oz he was long tho at 23 inches :)
