positive opk this morning...

(tmi) i got a positive opk a few mins ago. Soooo... I made my hubby a very strong coffee drink and told him i'd be up for his "deposit" in a few mins. ;) this is our first time using the pee on a stick kind of opk tests. My question is... How long after u get a positive opk do u actually ovulate? Plus, i normally have very heavy period that last a full 5 or 6 days. This past month it was only 2 days? Could that make me ovulate earlier? Because acording to the my days app i shouldnt b ovulating till wednsday...? Any on opks is greatly appreciated. Now... Im gonna go TRY to get pregnant. Sorry about the (TMI)! Hehe...

    Go by the opk not the app. The app is just guesstimate the opk actually detects when the lh surge is there...meaning you're about to ovulate. It usually says to have sex within the next 48 hrs after you get the surge and somewhere in that time frame you ovulate.

    Not anymore :) we used the opk for four months an nothing then the month j just said forget it we got pregnant lol. I'm currently 13 weeks with our first baby...due October 14th :)

    Yea when I did them sometimes they'd say I'm ovulating earlier than I thought I was and one time it was a few days later than when I thought I ovulated. But they're good to use!!!

    Are you trying to get your boy?? I just saw by your screen name you have all girls :)

    @tryin4babymoore yay for u! Congrats! :) how are u feeling? Ur in ur second trimester now. Yay!!! yes, we r trying one more time for a boy but secretly i wouldnt mind another girl. I do have a longing to have a son tho. Guess we'll see what happens.
