@jdensma I take mine out while sitting on the toilet so incase it spills it just goes in the toilet.

It Does get some blood but I just wipe it off with some TP then wash my hands real well after.

Oh my gosh YES! I even got my teenage sister to start using it! The first night I did leak...but my flow was SUPER heavy so I was prepared with a pad, but other than that no problems at all!! I am so glad I got it!
