Is it possible to find out sex of baby at 12wks???? A friend of mine is due same time as me but already found out and I have to wait a month until my doctor will scan. Wth?
There are some tests you can get online I've heard of... take blood and send it to a lab and somehow they can tell... but I havent heard any stories from that.
An amniocentesis can tell the sex of a fetus but I think that's a little risky though. A lot of doctors in my area won't perform them unless its medically necessary.
Be patient hun you'll find out at the earliest of 18weeks some at 21weeks wait for baby to grow enough, of course you wanna have an accurate result. I think before 18weeks the baby is still way to small and hasnt formed the body parts fully to be able to tell.
I'd be patient! Your friend may find out at her 20w scan that baby isn't what she was told. If you ask me. The earlier you find out the more likely for it to be a mistaken "gender"
Im in Australia, they wont even try to guess till 20 weeks. I was just lucky I needed an extra us at 17 weeks so they checked but were only 80% sure on a girl...
I found out at 14 weeks with my son. 100% accurate guaranteed. I paid for a 3d 4d gender scan at a ultrasound place. Im going monday to find out about this one with a doc scan. ill be a lil over 16 weeks
I couldn't wait till 18 weeks lol so I went to first look in aiea for the gender package it was 50$... It's 2d but the show u 3d and give u cute lil video clip. But it was very clear at 16 weeks that I was having a girl...that's the earliest they will do it.
They looked at my 12 week scan and she guessed girl. We go this week to a 3d place to get a gender scan! I'll be 16 weeks. I was 15 weeks when I found out with my son.
