How many of you just 'knew'

edited March 2011 in Pregnant
...you were pregnant. Even before you poas and your intuition was right. Mine was last time but unfortunately I miscarried.

I am having that same gut feeling again. I am a little excited but at the same time overwhelmed and scared.

  • @karla_with_a_K thanks girl. i am fine w/ not being pregnant if I am not though.

It will happen again, just praying it is a sticky baby next time.
  • Yes im praying for you.. I couldnt imagine losing one.
  • @karla_with_a_K thanks. it's hard but i am very strong. i had an ectopic pregnancy october 2008 so I am lucky to still be able to conceive. my husband and i couldn't believe it when we saw the positive on the test back in january. that joy was short but sweet cause exactly 1 week after finding out I started bleeding after sex. went to the ER and heard the worst news since October 2008.

I know God has us in the palm of His hands. He is going to bless us again and next time it will be meant for us.
  • You are exactly right. God knows EXACTLY what hes doin even if we dont understand it. He has a plan for yall. Praying for a BFP and lots of sticky dust
  • I knew because I have a regular cycle and never get a late period. I thought maybe it would come late. Then a month after my wedding I found out I was pregnant I was in complete shock cuz we weren't planning on having a baby but God planned it for us:-) now I'm 36 weeks with a boy! I wish you the best of luck and remember God always has a plan for each of us!
  • I knew but was in denial lol probably because of hubby im happy with 3 :)
  • I did, I had a dream about it, started talking to my boyfriend "what if.." and started monitoring my body every day for minute changes just in case. One morning I noticed the "glow" and that same day had implantation bleeding. Instantly knew for sure.
  • I knew before I even missed my period. My boobs were huge and tender for a couple of weeks which was unusual.
  • My boobs were sore for about 2w b4 I got.my bfp. I wasn't due for af for another 3 days or so but was in the ER for kidney pain which led to emergency surgery that night (new yrs eve to be exact). But b4 taking me to surgery the Dr came in and looked at me then my husband and said did u know u r pregnant? I had no clue other than tender boobs cuz I was expecting af in a few days but was kinda thinking maybe I coulda been pregnant cuz of my breasts. But that was all I felt til about a week later :)
  • I'm praying for you just have faith in god....
  • Me.. I was the same with my last too.. I took god knows how many tests over weeks nd weeks and kept getting negatives but I just knew I was, my periods are irregular but I just kept testing and in the end I got my positive result but still continued to test for weeks lol just to make sure :)
  • @lizeth3050 thanks. always faithful without God Almighty, I'd be in shambles right now. This is our 2nd loss but we still trust Him and His judgement and reasoning if though we don't understand it because we know there's a special blessing in store for us.

    Thanks again for the prayers.
  • See I have never experienced the sore boobs but I have always had fatigue and cramps similar to AF cramps. also I love Wendy's but with both my angel babies I could not stand the smell or sight of anything from Wendy's. I also just had a gut feeling both times. each time I tested before AF was due and got bfp's. no babies yet though but we will be blessed with a special lo all within God's timing.
  • I had a gut feeling the day I conceived That something was "off". Wasn't quite sure what it was because I had never been pregnant. 3 weeks later when I ordered my favorite drink at the bar, the smell of it turned my stomach. I knew then. 2 days later, 3 positive tests.
  • @mskrystal that gut feeling is really something. well I knew exactly when I ovulated (jan.16) and I just felt weird from that day on. but i was even more convinced when I began getting subtle symptoms as I mentioned in my previous post.
  • @dollfacemommi Oh yes. I also knew when my dad mentioned a high school bfs name the day before I tested, and I burst into tears. Mind you, I haven't talked to him in years so there are no feelings there at all. My dad was like 'What is wrong with you?' Little did he know...
  • @dollfacemommy i kinda did but since i had two mcs and then tried a whole year unsuccesfully i was beimdg negative. But for sme reason i didnt wana drink pills or have a drink i felt guilty. So xmas eve me n da hubby went to buy wiskey n he dcides to get test i didnt wna take them i was gna get upset wth da negative results, i took 4 and 2 da next day and i still couldnt believe it.
  • People say im lying but I felt it when it happened. Felt like an angel touched my eggs
  • I totally knew before I had any symptoms, I started spotting at time I was supposed to start but could feel it was different...13 weeks now with #2...good luck :)
  • I was so sure I wasn't because I was on the pill!!!! But he would tell me every day in January your having my baby I'm 100% sure your pregnant u should go to the Dr. I would just laugh n say your stupid and sure enough I was pregnant I guess I didn't have the mother instinct but he sure did:-P
  • I had no clue but my fiancée knew like the minute we concieved lol we are now 10 weeks and 4 days with our first :)
  • I had just moved about 2400 km from home with my hubby. We had been sorta trying (if it happened it happened if it Didnt it didn't) . My parents came out to visit and usually my dad and I can sit and drink beers together and chat. That week I really didn't feel like having any beers. They day they left I had a feeling and I wasnt even late yet. Sure enough half hour after the left I took a test... POSITIVE!
  • Before I even took a test, I kept looking at my husband and was like I'm pregnant. He said no you are not. And I'm like yes I am. No you are not. So I bought a two pack worth of tests. Took it and showed my husband. He's like one line is faded, take it again tomorrow. So I did, same result. I'm like told you so. Haha. But mothers always have that instinct when their child is involved.
