I am so frustrated with my boyfriends parents not respecting what I say to do and not do with MY son. I ask them all the time not to hold them so much because they babysit him during the day when I work nd they hold him all day long so when I get home later and try and put him down to make dinner or do anything his has a fit. They don't listen or care what I say. So today were at there house because my boyfrienda mom had surgery and we were visiting. Zachary was in his saucer playing just fine and was COMPLETELY CONTENT and his grandpa goes to pick him up and I'm like he's not crying just let him play he's fine aNd he picks him up anyways and was like well I'm his granddad. I wanted to flip out. I'm his mother. I had him not you. He's mine. Stop being so effing rude. Ok vent over lol. Does anyone else have this?

    My mil used to be like that. She's gotten so much better. I left my boys with her for 4 days while i went out of town for a wedding..on the schedule i wrote out for her i said not to hold him all day and to lay him down qhen he falls asleep. i think she did cuz he didn't seem spoiled when i got him back. She just likes to put her 2cents in about every little thing. i politely tell her I'm doing it this way.

    My mother was like that. I couldn't possibly know what was best for my son. Guess what? I cut her off completely and not only is it the best thing for my son (sons now!) But its also the best damn thing to ever happen to me!
