Nido , its a good powder milk, for 1 and up tho ,my Mom used to give that to me when i was a baby till i was like 6.. i do have it in my kitchen now , i will try it wit my daughter she is 12 months already
  • Well from what I read it's def for AFTER 1 year ...your friend giving it at 6 months is way to early. If your going the cows milk route after 1 then I would stick to milk...I personally will not be doing cows milk.
  • That's wat I was wondering she said since he was born she said the Dr. Doesn't tell her nothing but idk wat well u b giving ur baby @Ashley_smashley
  • @Vanessa_mom2b so u heard of this milk
  • She has been giving this since her child was born?! Like instead of formula? We don't do to much cows milk here. Mostly almond and coconut milk...rarely we do cows milk..just bought a half a gallon the other day (only because we had house guests).
  • Yes , it taste just like regular milk , its milk not formula,
  • @Ashley_smashley that's wat she said cause she can't get Wic and she can't afford formula and nido is cheaper
  • Holy crap....why can't she get WIC? That is not good! That baby needs proper nutrition!
  • Idk y I berly ran n to her its b so many years since I seen her but I just offered some baby fd and can milk cause I'm worried
  • Sad that your more worried than she is..
  • She said he's fine may b there's more to it we just had a quick update
  • She has 8 kids so I figured she knows
  • Ive tried Nido before, my sil will only drink that kinda milk. Its very good for you. I wouldn't suggest it for babies though.
  • @Aishamusa now that I know I wouldn't either

i always see it at walmart =.. to be honest i thought it wa a cheaper alternative to formula .. but im going to do some more research on it im thinking about using it for when she's one..

@vanessa_mom2b can you use that and cows milk? not mixed though im saying like at bedtime cows milk and morning nido?
  • They have 2 different kinds of Nido. Nido Kinder for 1+, and just plain Nido for 3+. I think whole milk would be better considering the fat content.
  • Oh, plus Nido Kinder is honey flavored,.so I'm sure it's LOADED with sugar..definitely not good for babies teeth, or your patience with baby being hyper from all the sugar!
  • I give it to my son and he loves it. And about the sugar idk. When he drinks it he gets full he goes to sleep for a pretty long time :)
