very faint line in the window..

Hi everyone. I'm new. I haven't missed a period yet, but I've taken 4 test so far (crazy I know) all of them resulted in a very faint line in the results window. At first my husband and I were elated, but this mornibg the line was so faint I had to hold the test to the light to see it. I know I should just wait a few more days, but Im so preoccupied thinking about it. I feel like im losing my mind. Thoughts about the very faint line for a positive result?

    I took 3 and alllll were faint lines. there wouldn't be more than one false positive. Congrats!

    My test did the same thing... a line is a line though, and that's a positive. If you want more reassurance then take the digital test by clear blue easy... I was only getting VERY faint positives (like hold to the light at an angle like you said) but the next morning I took a digital and it came back positive. I would just do that.

    Congrats it just means your early in detection of pregger hormones. So more than likely between 3 and 4 wks preggers :)

    Robinlinlee I actually did take 1 clear blue easy digital test that came out saying not pregnant (sorry that means I've actually taken 5 tests.) I'm hoping that the line test is just more sensitive.

    On a side note I've been reading these discussions all the time since I got this app. Everyone seems really great and supportive. I feel a little more reassured already! This will be baby #2 for me and I had very pronounced positive pregnancy tests with my daughter. I think thats why I'm so anxious this time.

    Thanks kat. My poor husband really thinks I'm going to lose it ha...he's certain I'm pregnant just because I'm acting crazy.

    I took two pregnancy tests and both were faint positives. Im now 9wks4d pregnant and got to see and hear my babies heartbeat. Best wishes!

    Congrats on your second. Did u take ur other child with u to hear the heartbeat. My daughter is only 21 months, so I'm excited for her to be involved.

    I tested a wk before my missed cycle (long story) but anyway.....VERY faint line after 6 more faint lines I believed it!! 8w1d now!

    I took 6 pregnancy test they all had a faint line it was 5 days before missed period I then went to the dr and they told me the line was to faint to wait a couple days I am 32wks and 2days so congrats

    I had taken the clear blue digital the first day I saw a faint line, and it came back negative too.. but then the next morning, I used 1st morning pee, and it did come back positive after a LOOOOONG wait.

    @jdc I still haven't told my three year old daughter that she has a baby sister or brother on the way. Im waiting until I get past the first trimester. I might take her to my 20wk u/s when we find out the sex.

    Same story here! I took a bazillion tests...plenty of negatives then one day a very faint line, so I took another one and the line was barely there. So, my bff went to get one of the digital tests and it came back not preg. The next morning I took another digital and it came back preg!!! I came out of the bathroom waving that stick screaming at my husband! Took 4 more tests just to be sure and now im going in my 7th week! Congrats to all!

    Dnt get those cheap ones get tho digital ones that actually hay pregnant two weeks etc. So much better and less guess work!

    Just remember there is never a false positive test. Only false negative. I've taken 5 tests and saw a couple faint lines. Didn't think much about. Thought I was making them up in my head. But after reading this it makes me a little more excited to take another test in a week

    I knew I was preggo very early. Im very in tune with my body. I had tons of neg tests then @ 9dpo very very faint line I had to put it under a light. @ 11dpo it was a tiny bit darker so then I purchased a digital and it was bfp!! I kept takinf tge line preg tests just to see the lines gradually get darker n darker. Im 25 weeks prego tomorrow. Congrats! :D

    Hi. I'm new to this forum. I had the same thing though, two tests with very faint lines. I already had a feeling I was pregnant though because I just felt off. I'm 4 weeks 4 days so I agree, a positive is a positive! Congrats!

    Not good. Possibly aChemical pregnancy. I was really sad last week, which is why I didn't post til today. I know God will bless us again inHis time.

    My first line was very dark, but my second line was faint. I'm due in Nov.
