WE ARE HOME
Well we have been given a temporary release from hospital to see how Zander goes tonight at home. He is looking a lot happier being out of the hospital and all the tubes etc being out of him.
As long as he doesn't go downhill he will be officially discharged at lunchtime tomorrow. Any problems during the night and we can take him straight back in to the ward instead of er.
Thank you all for your thoughts and well wishes it was amazing help to get through the sleepless night.
Michael.

Thanks will try to but not sure how will go with that tonight until I know he's doing better. I have managed to swap shifts around with a guy from work though so I have 3 days off until I'm back at work.
He has gone to sleep with my wife so hoping I can get him into his cot soon then be early bed time incase he wakes.
Basically blood tests and mucus sample came back with 2 different viral infections that were fighting each other and mild bronchitis. The viral infections have unbalanced his liver so we have to have a follow up blood test in a week to check that and his red blood cell count also.
