birthday party ideas???

My baby turns 1 in a couple of months and being a ftm I am over thinking everything. Thankfully my mom and mil are cooking so I don't have to worry about food but what can I do to make it fun for the kids? I'm thinking about face painting and maybe renting a jumping castle, any other ideas? Help!

I'm doing the very hungry caterpillar.

I will have all sorts of fruit & drill holes in them. Gunna make colored sugar cookies.
Don't know what else yet, lol.

She'll be 1 Aug, 25th.

Makenzie's bday is in the winter time and she LOVES Bubble Guppies so I am going to try and do an indoor pool party for her (She loves the water and the pool).

I havent called the place yet but i figuring its probably around 200 they bring just small animals. I believe it would cost extra for the bigger animals. Its a very small zoo.

@IsaiasCruzJuly11 yay! When is hous birthday? I'm not sure yet on what decorations I want && what I want to make them out of. I might buy some things online. I also don't know if I want a cake or cupcakes. She will have her own little smash cake, which I want to try to make (first in advance, lol).
