I got my little on the same thong but she didn't like the bigger potty.... get the dullest thing out and let her use that one.... also, as bad as this sound, get plastic pant and cover up really good.... let her use the restroom and the sit her down, basically make her sit in it for a min.... they hate the way it feels.... they will learn that the petty is their best friend if they don't want to feel like that again
1) rewards - stickers, mini m&m's, etc. we recently redid my 2 year old's room into a night sky with a moon and stars (he's obsessed with the moon and stars) and each time he pees in the potty he gets to put up one star, each time he poops he gets to put up 3 stars.
2) Does your kid like Elmo? Elmo's potty training DVD made my little guy a fan of the potty instantly, he would bring his Elmo stuffed animal to go potty with him.
3) When you go potty, let your little one flush it and wave byebye, i know it sounds odd, for some reason they love this, and it re-assures them that its not a terrible thing. Especially when they feel they have some control over the flush noise, and they can see exactly what is happening
Mine is potty trained and still loves Elmo potty time.... lol.... @Micheyla Lucky! My little one loves being praised but it did not work and she was too little to understand bribes.... with number 2 on the way, I was determined not to have two kids in diapers
Tell her the new baby needs them and u need her help being a big girl to take care of the baby but only big girls who don't use passys can help. Or just wait for her to give it up my niece just went to the trash a lil after her 2nd bday and threw it away and said I don't need this anymore and was done with it!
My gabriella loved her passys when she got older by I took them away during the day and she could only have them at nap and bed time after a month I took them away completely and she is fine with it. Having a hard time potty training her
I only have boys. The MM reward didn't work for me and neither did aiming for cheerios in the toilet... but worth trying:) I ended up blowing bubbles in the bathtub if they went to the bathroom... worked great!
