  • I wish i had the guts to touch a gun :)
  • @kayleigh27 do you think the classes would be hard??
  • Depend on your state for the classes search around. Some places will have the curiculum they teach listed on the website.
  • Easy peasy.
  • My hubby wants me to get one and told him sure just as long as you don't plan on cheating on me I'll get one lol jk jp jijijijijijijiji....

    .
  • Proud gun lover
  • I want my ccw... We do have guns in the house though. Classes are easy, just gotta take the TIME to do it.
  • Idk since we are active duty military we don't have to take them. We live in AZ so idk if its like that in every state. We both shoot regularly and he carries his Springfeild XDM 40. almost everywhere. I'm planning on getting myself a 9mm for carry. We have mostly have hunting rifles but we have a 12 gauge shotgun for home protection
  • @kayleigh27 that must just be AZ. MS doesn't do that :( they make it super easy for us to go thru the class but we still gotta do it. Haha, fun fact for MS though.... Your car is considered an extension of your home so you are allowed to drive around with one in the chamber!!!! And somehow that's not considered concealed.... But to carry it. Yeah, class.

@redshadoe0 yeah I heard classes aren't that hard. That's pretty neat. I doubt I will be able to get my CCW though because one of the rules say you cant have one if you have ever been committed to an institution. I did 2 yrs ago for depression after I had my mc. It wasn't like a institution like place but it was still a behavoril health hospital
  • My state doesnt have classes to take for a carrying permit. You just fill out the paper work and undergo background check etc. August im getting my glock.
  • I got one. The class was 4 hours and then an hour at the range in my state.
  • @kayleigh27 I don't know if that counts honestly... that's hormones, not you being insane lol. Still worth looking into!!!
  • That's what I'm thinking too @redshadoe0 but who knows with the way some people are these days they may not let me. I guess I could call and find out. I said I could just not put it on the form but my husband got mad at me and said I cant lie
  • @kayleigh27 lol, yeah, lieing might not be the best idea... but I figure as long as you're not eating peoples faces and whatnot, you're good!!! haha. Yeah I'd call and ask at least.
  • This convoy blew up while i was sleeping lol
  • My husband has his. In Wisconsin as long as you have a hunters safety card you don't need to take the class. You just fill out the paperwork and send it in! Here it costs $50
  • It varies state to state, my mom has a gun shop so I grew up around LOTS of guns. I dont have my ccw but I do own a gun (or 2) and would have no problems using it if the time came. My husband travels occasionally for work and he feels better knowing that I have one loaded and ready! My daughter is 8 months and i'm 13 weeks along with #2 so I know if there were a home invasion my gun would be the only thing to help me.
