Good lord, this hand foot and mouth disease is a freakin nightmare!!! Our 4yr old contacted hfmd in preschool. It's going thru each of my kids one at a time. Fever for 2 days (which made 2 of my kids vomit), then the sores/blisters come... They apear ALL over inside their mouths, hands, feet, knees, elbows, almist everywhere. Last night our 3 yr old was crying, pulling her toes, telling me she "needs her toes off" because they hurt so bad. :( i think i have it too but not nearly as bad. Thankfully, we r on the last child to get it. I just feel so horrible for them. This is by far the worst virus we have delt with. Its really amazing how much junk kids bring home from school. Not to mention we havent been out of the house for almost 2 weeks... I dont want to expose any other kids to this nightmare. Ugh, vent over. If u read this... Thanks for listening. By the way, i had heard of this before but didnt know anything about it. Craziness!

    My son and daughter had it, it was a nightmare. My daughter was 5 months old an her mouth hurt so bad i had to feed her through a dropper. I feel bad for you :( . Hope its over soon :)

    @Tootie08 over the counter pain meds is pretty much it. Its an icky virus that u just have to wait out. Ive given them benadryl at night to help em sleep.

    @mommyfor3 thank you! I tried so hard disinfecting the house and i guess it didnt work. Glad it worked for u. :)

    @starrxoxo9 its a real nightmare. Hopefully u never have to deal w it. It was spead out all over my daughters school and their doc said theyve seen alot recently. So maybe stay out of Rochester. Lol.

    @emy i cant imagine a poor little baby dealing with this. How awful!

    @starrxoxo9 oh YES! My kids would live there if we let them. For sure bring ur daughter when shes old enough to run ALL over the place.

    Awww, hope ur kids get better soon. My lil nieces & nephews had it. Now their skin has all these scars.

    Be sure to clean very well! I heard its transferred by dirty hands and not washing after changing diapers or using the bathroom. I hope it clears up soon

    My baby just had it too!! Its such a nightmare! Its all over Vegas too! I'm just not sure where she got it from,my kids have been out of school for awhile now!
