What does a yeast infection feel like? I'm almost 30 yrs old and have only had 1 in my life. It was so long ago that I don't remember it. Please help. I don't want to go to the Dr cuz I know it can be treated otc.

It feels like itching times 100 down there then after all the scratching trust me u can't help but scratch it burns when u pee and u also have white looking discharge i hope this helps!

@blessedtimes2 Omg thanks! I think that's what it is. Tmi..Hubby and I tried to have sex last night but it burned really bad. What's the best otc stuff to get?

Ive only had a couple a very long time ago but back then there was one simple pill the doc could give u and it took it right away. So much easier then some of the home remidies. But, yeah... They itch.

you could try plain natural yoghurt, coat a tampon with some and put it up, it will help to relieve the itch

U can also buy monistat at Walgreen or rite aid its a cream but if u go to the doc they can order something u can take by mouth I don't like using the cream

@blessedtimes2 @mommyof3girls @JoshnEviesmum major tmi and I'm so sorry...I just went to pee and had a slimy dark bloody discharge. Is that common with a yeast infection? I just got off my period

Bump, I've never had that with a yeast infection, but I have with a uti.

Buy a vagisil screening kit. It will tell you if it's yeast or a bacterial infection. Either one is common after a period, and the brown stuff could just be old blood.

yep, maybe old blood but I would get checked for a UTI just incase.

@My2Boys I've never had a uti but i've heard they burn when you pee, I don't. Just itch
