When did your little one say their first word and what was it?

Makenzie is 7 and a half months and she hasn't yet :-(

    Jack just babbles all say. He's 8 months

    McKinley is 13 months, and still just babbles. She'll say mamamama but that's the only think that sounds like a word. I was concerned at her one year appointment so I brought it up, Dr said most start saying words between a year and eighteen months, so they don't get concerned until eighteen months.

    Savanah was about 6 1/2 months and she's said momma and now at 9 months she knows about 10 or so words and uses them regularly but her main words are momma, dada, nana, and dog lol

    Mine is 9 and a half months and babbles all the time, we're thinking he's beginning to try and say bye bye :) but that's it.
