  • What he's an idiot. Such a joke. I'm a Google that one.
  • I heard it on the news. Isnt that crazy! They said the woman would have to prove there was.no human involvement and if they couldnt it meant death penalty or life in prison. Thats insane!

  • Omg that's insane
  • As a mommy to be it made me SOOO upset when I read it. But I'm sure he thinks its okay to abort? It completely blew my mind.
  • That is horrible i read about it last week! Lave it to a man to come up with that!
  • This guy hates women, obviously. Is he really in a position to be able to make this happen?
  • My friend posted it on facebook and I just read it. That's exactly what everyone else was saying. Lol
  • Its actually a state representative. He wants to make pre-natal murder a crime. However, his proposed bill would include miscarriages not caused by nature. So basically women could be investigated for murder when they have a miscarriage. He also thinks that guns should be allowed in churches and schools.
  • What! Because we definately need another columbine incident! This guy seriously needs to get checked..he doesn't seem mentally stable lol
  • X( :O

WOW!!! Bad enough someone would say something like that; but a STATE REPRESENTATIVE?!?! All I can say is wow...

This is sick. Twisted. Wrong. Disgusting. GRR!!!
  • @mrsdelrae I completely agree. I almost didn't know what to say to it. And its hard to make me speechless on certain subjects.
  • So what would he call prenatal murder? Not taking vitamins? Having an undiagnosed hormone imbalance? My hubbys ex tried to kill her babies with cocaine and didn't succeed, would that get any punishment?
  • I saw a group on facebook who wanted women to send him their used tampons to show it was a "natural loss". Gross i know but i thought it was hilarious!!!!
  • I know! I hardly am deemed speechless. This was one of those rare occasions. Completely baffled.
@4senough I couldn't agree more. Its definitely overstepping the line here. Just wrong. Simply put. It takes a LOT to make me angry. This has gotten me livid to see this ignorance. What makes him think he's so high & mighty??

Seriously, what a jerk. He is a disgrace to his state, his country & to all women. I have always stood by my motto of 'no matter how bad you think you have it, there's always someone unfortunately worse off than you are, so count your blessings, don't pass judgement because you never know what obstacles they are trying to overcome.' As well as there may be a time that someone is having a hard time & you could make the whole difference in their life by simply smiling, listening, respect, or caring. I hope someone puts this guy in his place. Ridiculous!!
  • I don't want to say how i think he could be put in his place, but is he married? What does she think? More than that, i want to know what he thinks he can accomplish with the passing of this bill? Abortion by dr is legal in some states, is he planning on expanding his miscarriage is murder campaign? I had several mcs because of a hormone imbalance that noone bothered to test me for until i lost 6. What does this bill mean for ladies like me? I think he should be concentrating more on making sure the babies that are here are well cared for, not pointing his finger at women.
  • Wow psycho... its not like a miscarriage is something that we purposely do!

  • This pissed me off!!! Seriously, most miscarriages go unexplained! I had a missed miscarriage last year and it was the hardest thing I've ever went through. Then to get told I could get charged with murder for that is ridiculous! The baby was tested and it had an extra chromosome which caused me to miscarry, so this guy thinks that's my fault? Ugh I think he needs to get the death penalty for even trying to do this....just saying....it would be more logical. Lol

  • Well I'm in the middle on it because I did a lot of research on it and he wants the death penalty for women who use the morning after pill, do drugs and drink heavily. What it says is pretty much anything that would harm your baby and you do it anyways and it ends in a miscarriage. I agree in a way bc its like giving yourself a at home abortion if you know your pregnant.
  • @Mama_Kat I totally am in agreeance with you. Apparently he lives in an alternate reality...so lame!!
  • @KatelynDoleMommyof3 i think woman should be punished if they drink and do drugs during their pregnacy but taking the morning after pill u agree with puting a woman in jail for life and possibley death????
  • I just can't wrap my mind around this. Its so insane:/
  • I think if the morning after pill does take a baby's life its the same as an abortion. I was brought up in a very strong Christian home. I'm nit trying to judge I'm just stating what I think.
  • @KatelynDoleMommyOf3 the morning after pill will only stop a pregnancy from happening hun, it will not terminate an existing pregnancy. :)
  • The morning after pill is supposed to ba an extra precaution for those ladies who are already on birth control, not a means to abort a fetus. I hope mama kat is right and it doesn't go through. Maybe he should concentrate on women who haven't multiple abortions, that is murder in my opinion.
  • *have* not haven't
  • There was a case where a teen girl took multiple morning after pills and she had a miscarriage
