what part of rsvp is not clear

So i sent out invitations for Xavier party in the beginning of the month and wrote on them please rsvp by july12 ( the party is on saterday) i got one rsvp and that was from the person helping me plan the darn thing. So i sent out message saying i was trying to get a count for food and got a bunch of message back say oh yeah we'll be there with the number of attending. What the ##uck was unclear about rsvp
and end of rant.

    Most people think they're just too busy to RSVP. Its.like 'come on people, be a little considerate!'

    @1stwoodsbaby i feel like i'm begging people to come by messaging them to ask if there coming but i also wanted to make sure we had enough food. I want it to be perfect i don't have a need for it to be huge or anything but i want him to have a good time.

    This same thing bothers the crap outta me. I sent out 200 invites to my wedding an only recieved 3 calls refuring to the rsvps. Errrr I had like 350 people attend. Same thing with my baby shower I sent out 85 invites an got no rsvps but had like 120 people show up. It isnt that hard people, appearently its okay not to rsvp.

    Omg tell me about it. My sister and I had to practically chase people down for RSVPs to her baby shower. And they all said yes anyways!! I sent out invites for Tessa's bday last week and have only heard from 2 people. I know everyone and their mom texts, so what gives???

    I had to deal with this the past week. No one rsvp'd. We were expecting over 40ppl to show, but only like 25 came. Ordered food from a bakery, and barely anyone touched it; they all wanted what was on the grill. No one used any of the plates/cups/napkins I bought, and only used half of the $50 cake we bought! If I knew how many were going to show I wouldn't of bought half of the stuff. It's not that hard to make a damn phone call or text!

    @mrswright08 @starrxoxo9 @erick22 i'm glad i'm not the only one i message every one today and everyone except one won't be attending apparently rsvp means no need to let me know so i can plan. In ny friends nelia's defense i think she figure she is my best friend and the whole family basically helps me raise Xavier so she assumed i knew they would be there but nobody else has that excuse 32 people really were you just hopeing i had enough food smh :{

    Oh trust me. My wedding, had ppl who didn't rsvp and ppl who did for yes and didn't show up. Needless to say we paid for 40 ppl who didn't show. Our baby shower, same thing luckily it was at our house and we were not paying per plate. But ppl I work with every damn A) didn't show if they said they would B) didn't say anything at all even tho I talked about the shower all the time.

    @babyluv8 i hope people arn't just saying yes because i sent the message i'd be pissed if your not coming then just say so i'd be super pissed if i paid for 40 people that didn't show. We're having it at the park at the splash pad so we'er cooking our own food but dam have some courtesy and let us know there are like 30 people. That didn't rsvp and just thought they were gonna just show up dam

    Yeah, going through my wedding & now baby showers I've thrown in the last year... I always make sure to rsvp when I get an invite!

    @babyluv8 that is funny that you say that i had a friend that just text me that she hates when people don't rsvp i messaged back you would think that you'd be better at it then lol it was a little harsh but i've been stewing about this all day and she wears big girl panties and can take it.

    I had my sons first bday party July 7th and on the invitations I asked ppl to rsvp well no one did and everyone showed up so I didn't have enough good for everyone and I told them tht was their problem. And now I have a baby shower planned for august 4th and no one is rsvping it makes me so mad

    @raylansmommy1 I don't know what is so hard about picking up a dam phone give me a text if your to busy to call i serious have over 30 people that are coming that didn't rsvp really were you just hoping i had enough food.i'm luck that i sent out a message there is no way i would of guessed that many people after getting no response smh

    @raylansmommy1 i'm sorry idk what is wrong with people i know that everyone has a busy life but have some common courtesy. I would make the food first come first serve. if they wanted to be feed then they should of called lol. I'm still fumming over how many people are coming on saterday and didn't and didn't feel the needed to rsvp when they were suppose to. We're going to do party sub i didn't relize how expensive it is to feed a large group after all of this if people don't show up they better be on there death beds.

    That happens to me every yr with my daughters party. I do it at Chuck e cheese bc its in Feb and too cold outside. I get no RSVPs (except for the cousins and her best friend)and then like 6 people show up. Mind you its,like 20 per kid. So I'm only planning for who RSVPs. One lady actually brought her kid who was invited and another kid who wasn't. I was like?!

    @sehra4177 that messed up smh i'd be like the soup nazi on sinfield no food for you. Lol people just have no common courtesy we decided to do a party sub instead of cooking and i finally heard from everybody now i'm just worried that people say there coming and don't i really don't want to over pay for food cause we won't be home to have left over

    I once saw on that show on TLC Four Weddings where during the reception they actually kicked out all the people who hadn't rsvp to the wedding. And while everyone who had was eating inside the ones who hadn't had to wait outside until everyone finished lol

    @kayleigh27 that is what they deserve. Lol that sounds like something i would do.did people actually wait i'd be like i'm out not waiting just to hang out and dance. Then again i'd have enough common sense to rsvp.

    Yeah it was about 20 people and they waited outside the door. Then when everything had been cleared away they came in and danced. The dance didn't start until after the food
