I can't go into details now, but I'm in the er with my 15yo son. I think he may be over dosing on something, I've never done drugs or been aground anyone who did so idk what's going on, but I'm scared.
@dadof2n1togo@mrs4c Thank you, he is my only out of control child, bc he has horrible friends. He woke me up to call 911 bc he thought he was dying & his heart & stomach was about to explode, then puked all over the floor. I've never had to deal with anything like this.
@erkiehadagirl - he's sleeping now. It's so embarrassing to admit my son has a problem bc I'd like to think I have a perfect family, but he needs help. Even his older brother & sister are worried about him. He's the youngest of my oldest 3 from previous marriage. Their dad abandoned them so he takes it pretty bad. His dad wanted me to abort him. Sorry, I'm totally rambling now.
It sounds like he smoked spice. It won't show up on a drug test, and would make him feel exactly like he told you he did because marijuana isn't going to make him feel like that. I'm sorry you have to go through that! Maybe this will be enough to scare him into acting better.
Prayers for u and ur son. its hard because u can do ur best as a parent but there comes the point where the child is in control of what they decide to do. I hope u got some sleep. Prayers.
Aww honey, sorry you have to go through this. It sucks seeing someone you love go through this. **hugs & prayers your way** hopefully this scared him enough to make him not want to do it again good luck
stay strong mama, its scary i know but hopefully this may have scared him before he lands himself a real habit. My 18 year old niece [Lives with me since she was 13:mom kicked her out] landed herself in the hospital with alcohol poisoning at 14 so I know how it feels. She cleaned her act up after that though, it really frightened her. Hopefully your boy will be the same.
Thank you everyone, he's still sleeping, but when he gets up I'm gonna try to calmly talk to him & try to get some answers. I hope it scared him enough too. He literally thought he was having a heart attack & dying. His heart rate was elevated, he was short of breath & had severe chest, stomach & head pain. Also his sugar was 90 because he hadn't ate all day & blood pressure was a little low. It sounds like more than pot to me, but idk. They did a full urine drug test. @captivated - do you have any resources on this? With my miscarriage 2 weeks ago & bladder infection, now this, I'm going nuts! Yikes, I'm glad he woke you up! You guys are in my thoughts. Hopefully this was a wake up call for him! I'm sorry that you've been having to deal with so much lately :-(

It did seem like an anxiety attack & I had an appointment set up for counseling already due to his behavior issues. What is spice? I'm clueless. Should I search his room & pockets even with him here? I don't want drugs in my house!
Would huffing do that??? It's def not pot... And salvia doesn't last that long.... I don't know about spice tho.... Goodness. You're in my prayers... Spice is synthetic weed... It's dangerous bc its chemically made. And i would search.... Personally.
Bath salts? I'm not very knowledgeable about it, but that's not pot, unless it was cut with something else. Research bath salts, they often have very innocent packaging, so you may of missed it while searching. Hope you both are ok.
Omg, what do I do if I find something in his room?! I just thought of that! Flush it? Turn it in for testing to see if it was laced? That crap is illegal, I'm freaking out a little now, I don't want to go to jail or something...ugh!
I really wouldn't be jumping to conclusions. You have no proof that it was even drug related. Just because he was smoking weed doesnt mean he was doing anything else.
He is 15 years old, there is no jumping to conclusions when a 15yr old test positive to weed. I would search high and low, there would be no such thing as privacy from that point on. His friends GONE. I would talk to him and tell him to tell me anything and everything he has done or I will drop him off to juvy or rehab. If he tells you openly I would put him in counseling and tell him he can pretty much kiss his friends goodbye. Thank god he is ok. Prayers to your family

He periodically smokes weed and she always lectures him and yells or whatever. He came home the other night high... Claimed he only smoked weed. His heart was racing, feeling sick, claimed he was seeing and hearing things as well.
Took him to the doctor and they ran tests and watched him. Only had weed in his system.
Now its 2 weeks later and he's still acting strange. Thinks people are following him. Trips out. It breks my heart.
The Dr was saying ...Now adays weed is mixed with things that can't be traced. Sometimes they're even added during the harvest period.
The only way you can be sure you're getting unlaced weed is to have a lic and buy it at the weed stores.
I hope your son does also have any side effects as well.
