I just got to vent about something...so we are going to take one big ass family photo...inlaws,all their kids..the whole shibang. Even a forgien exchange student they used to host years ago is going to be in it. Well the topic came up about what colors to wear. My MIL suggested we all wear blue. Me being a photographer myself I agreed that it would look nice Well now the family is talking about each family wear a different Color. The chosen Color for us is blue. I'm fine with blue. But one SILs family is going to wear LIME GREEN and then my MIL and FIL are going to wear Bright RED and the other family hasn't chosen their Color yet but they're thinking of yellow. And the greatgrandparents are going to be in their own color. I'm sure we're all going to look like a bag of skittles. When I talked with them if that's what they really want to do they were all like "yeah so everyone knows who kids belong to what family" um ok??? So I polietly tried to explain to them how it would look nice if they wanted to use the different colors but still choose from the same Color family like using dark blues and dark greens and plum colors. Well it was like I had stupid written on my face by the way they looked at me they said "yeah why don't we dress the guys in pink and the girls in baby blue" and laughed.

My husband told me to speak up and that's what I get. Every suggestion I politely made was shot down with jokes or "well us girls(MIL and all my SILs) have decided on this" I told my husband that we're going to look like a teams from Legends of the Hidden Temple. Lol but whatever. They seem to have already made up their minds.

Lmao at "looking like a bag of skittles!" Sounds about like me in my in laws minds- they all laugh at my ideas. At least you have the satisfaction of being able to say "SEE" when everyone is wondering why they just had to taste the rainbow for pictures!

Lol oh the many family stories I could tell, ones about my own family and ones about my husbands family it's just crazy I mean really crazy..

No one listens to anyone and fights starts quickly for little reasons ughhh that's my families..

Thank goodness for not having in laws:) my fiancee doesn't speak to them, well he was taken at birth and really never met his mom. So, we only have my crazy family to deal with...which is enough...lol!

@mrsstanley_x2 yeah thankfully we are taking individual family photos so at least I wont have to deal with all the colors (know that sounds mean) on my wall. Then my MIL is buying us all red tshirts to take as a big family. I'm sure when I'm going to try to pose them they're going to have something else to say. But whatever I would like to take a nice family photo of my family. If they don't want to pose and just stand there like a line up then I'll let them

@aishamusa and @sehra4177 lol I think its because last family photo they decided to take when I was HOSPITALIZED. That's all my MIL brings up when she sees me looking at that photo on how I wasn't there. Well if you wanted me there so much you couldn't have waited until I was better? My husband is in it so at least she doesn't have to deal with my face lol!
