  • Desitin. Keegan got her 2nd diaper rash ever in10 months this week too. This first one went away in one day. This one hung around 2 or 3 days.
  • Butt paste!
  • I use A&D as well. If it is sticking around, it could possibly be yeast.
  • @1stWoodsBaby word how out came Pitt of nowhere huh

    @Mijita I think I have a sample of that

@captivated how long is too long for a diaper rash
  • I use anti monkey butt paste :)
  • I agree butt paste
  • Butt paste is the best. I use a&d with every diaper change though and it does really good at preventing
  • I think i'm going to go buy some butt paste then
  • I use butt paste and powder. Neither of my kids have ever had diaper rash
  • My lo had it so bad they told us to put a fungal cream (we used an athletes foot cream) and then dab on maaloxx straight from the bottle.. We did this a few times during the evening and then at school used the extra strength desitin and anti monkey butt baby butt paste... His was BAD. Like split open and bleeding. It left little scars ob his bum. They didnt kbow what it can from. There was no new anything for him...
  • Is she teething? The excess saliva produced is acidic and it comes out in their wee which can cause nappy rash. Try and leave her nappy off as much as possible. I'm in the UK so out creams are different but a natural remedy is to use egg whites, spread over the rash, air dry and put on the nappy!
  • Aquaphor works really well. I got a sample of it the other day, and noticed my son was getting a rash last night, put it on him, and hour later I checked and it was gone!
  • I use coconut oil because it's all natural. Airing out their bottom helps too. (but can be messy lol)
  • @newmomma13 when aquaphor wont work i use boudreaux original butt paste in the yellow tube (the max strength doesnt work well, go figure??)
  • I use aquaphor and also let her crawl around naked for a little while every night after bathtime but I keep her in an isolated area just in case of any accidents...I've never had am issue with diaper rash but with any sign of redness I do this and its gone the next morning
  • @littlenat86 yes she is teething....

I was thinking of letting her crawl around without a pamper but we have carpet

I have style aquaphor imma try that to...it seems like its getting more irritated..if it gets worse imma make an appointment for Monday

Thank you for all your input tagging is a bitch on my phone
  • How is she doing? Did it finally go away? We use butt paste.
  • People said this but Boudreauxs butt paste worked best for us! It went away in 2 days
  • @trixiesmom8 I went and bought her some destin that night and the next morning it looked way better so IRS green clearing up over the days her skin its just like chaffed down there I guessed and is like pealing...I hope it don't leave scars

Its not going to leave scars. My daughter had a yeast rash and it blistered and bleed and it toke 2 months of destin/butt paste/vasaline to clear up. And she has no scars. I now put vasaline before bed on her cause thats the longest time she has the same diaper. Oh and if she stays in a pooped diaper(husband smh) to long she blisters
  • Well that's good she is getting better.
  • Bag balm...its kinda hard to find. Cvs or walgreens have it. Sometimes walmart has it. Its a green tin box. It smells kind of weird but it works great and it lasts for a long time
  • My son had a bad case of diareaha that left his poor lil booty a mess. The pharmisict at the hospital recommend Calmoseptine ointment. It's kinda hard to find but I was lucky to find it at a locally owned drug store. Call around bc I now swear by this stuff! I saw a huge improvement after one use and after 24 hrs he was back to normal.
  • I'm so with @kayleigh27 Bagbalm is the best!!!!!!!!!!
  • @trixiesmom8 @kayleigh27 @musicmomma I had to take her to the doctor today cause it got worse...they prescribed an antifungal cream so hourly it gets better...i'm going to look for that stuff y'all recommended
  • @Mom2ING yea that's what I figured ..no, no open sores just really red and bumpy
  • @Mom2ING I hope so too!!! She doesn't seem to be extra fussy them her usual self but i'm sure it feels uncomfortable
  • Hope it is getting better as I say this.
  • If you tried everything and it's not working it can be a yeast infection and you need a prescription for that. Alana had one twice and it's not fun :(
