snoring

Is it true that if a baby under the age of 3 snores that it could be a lack of oxygen getting to their brain n that it's unhealthy?

  • ^^^ is right. My mom just happened to complain to the doctor that I snored a lot and was wondering if it was normal because my older brother never did. He said it usually indicates and adenoid or tonsil issue. Sure enough that's what it was mine were very enlarged and I had to have them removed. I was only 3. He said its not common for kids that young to snore so it's worth getting checked out!

I think that applies for eceryone. Snoring is the obstruction of air flow.... But wait! One of my kids snored and they sent her in for a bronchial-scope to be done. (she was about 10 months at the time.) They said that the pallet in her bronchial passage had not fully develope. They said when it does ahe would grow out of snoring and she did... It waa about 4 months later
