Going in for my 35th week check up! Update!!!

I am really nervous. Idk why! Lately I have been having what I think are contractions but they end up stopping. Its like a sharp pain down my lower back and my stomach gets really tight. I also have been losing parts of my mucus plug. Wondering what they do during this appointment. :/ I hope she is ok in there!!

    Just a normal apt they probly won't check you for dilation till next week.

    you should tell them about your contractions in case they do want to check you but since they are irregular, they may not

    Update!!! She checked my cervix I am a little over 2 cm dilated already. She put me on bedrest. It made me really nervous. She said this baby is most likely gonna come early. I am freaking out. I wasn't expecting that.

    I go for my 35 week appt. Today too. I hope she checks me cuz everytime I ask she blows it off

    Those kind of contractions changed my cervix to i didnt think that they wuld but they did! Dont be nervous baby will be fine :)

    At 36 weeks (third child) I was 3 cm and stayed that way for 6 weeks till they induced me at 2 weeks overdue!!!!!!
    My first two I went from 3-10 cm in 10 mins or less pushed a few times and done. Happened so fast. Not the third time hmmm......

    Yepp I had irregular contractions and was 5cm when I first got checked at 37w4d.

    @bexiewexie they probly put her on bed rest because they don't want her to doing to much cause it could cause contractions which they don't want since she isn't full term yet.

    I just have overall pain and pressure I can hardly walk. And I'm slowly losing my plug

    Yeah I don't get why they put u on bed rest cuz 2 cm is normal at this point.

    I don't know why she put me on bed rest. Being dilated a little over a 2 is normal at 35 weeks?? Maybe because I have been having contractions? She said to keep what I do physically to a minimum. Idk! I feel like crap. :'(

    Yea becuz ur contractions are changing ur cervix an baby isnt full term yet that happened to me an they wouldnt let me off bedrest till 37 wks exactly i was dialated to 2 an 60% effaced at 32 wks

    Well if I was you I would listen on not over doing it physically but I wouldn't go to the extreme of sitting in bed all day. Like I said just go the things u "have" to do just in case u don't want the baby to early and have to stay at the hospital for ever.

    I think when she said bed rest that's what she meant. Just don't over do it. I am starting to hurt really bad. My legs are swelled up and my back is hurting. I can't get comfortable.

    My Aunt was 2cm and 90% effaced at 34 weeks and still went 2weeks over

    I had mine at 35 weeks, just slow down so baby can bake a little longer they are still
    Learning things in there at that age. Like mine had not quite figured out the whole swallowing thing so give baby more time in there If you can
