I'm aiming for 3 days a wk right now. I have a jogging stroller so I just take Tessa with me and she loves it I stop by the park and let her swing on the way home :X
Love this thread! After I had my second I weighed 219, being 5'4 I just knew I had to diet, so I had been counting calories and so far I am down to 171, I would love to get to 150, hearing everyone motivate others makes me want to work harder! We can do this ladies!!! \:D/ :-bd
Small update: Sorry I havent been on much ladies- my mother is seriously ill and Im now her full time carer-Ive been there pretty much all the time, from 5 am in the morning yesterday until midnight, so I havent had a chance to get on- Anyway...I have drastically cut my cola intake- I have bought only ONE 2 litre bottle since I posted this thread, and that was shared between me and hubby-Ive had maybe 3 or 4 small bottles too but nothing close to how much I was drinking before-
So far, I have lost 3lbs- Not great I know, but its a step in the right direction. I have also kept up with the martial arts classes- Ive been twice now, and LOVE LOVE LOVE it, going to be training twice a week and have also been playing ball with my son for a half hour tonight, so along with looking after my mum, my activity levels have risen dramatically this week- Im exhausted now though-
Just wanted to let you ladies know whats been going on and to say thank you for the continued support-Appreciate it more than you all know!
Well done. I know how hard it is to lose weight and drop the bad habits lol. Mine have only dropped since having cancer as I just can't stand half of the things I used to eat or drink.
I have been exercising mainly weights to tone back up since I've lost so much weight on chemotherapy and am probably in the best shape I've ever been in right now.
Have you ever felt what 3 lbs feels like? Its actually a lot. Have you ever seen what 5lbs of fat looks like? You'd be amazed. Google it sometime.
Now that you've adjusted to limited pop, you can focus on something else (i.e. increase fruits and veggies). I'm glad you are enjoying your marital arts, that's important.
You are headed in the right direction to a healthier you, keep it up!
That's awesome! Thanks for tagging me, that helps motivate me too, as I've been slacking off & haven't lost anything yet lol. Pop is a very hard habit to kick, so you should be proud!
Hey you gotta start somewhere right??! I haven't lost anything but I've been sick and feeling sorry for myself so I've been eating like crap!! Lol I gotta regroup and get back on track!!
I came home from the hospital and stepped on the scale and it read 234lbs Eli is now 2 Weeks and 1 day old and i'm down to 215 from just water and breast feeding. :-D goal is 150lbs
Yay! Way to go:) I've been eating better but our scale has been broken I really have to get one soon. So I'm not sure if I lost anything yet:( pants seem loser tho:)
Woohooo! Remember weight loss fluctuates and you may have good weeks and bad weeks. You'll come to a point where you'll plateau and PLEASE don't get discouraged. Instead tweak yourself by eating frequently, small power meals every 2-3 hours and changing up your exercise routine.
