at the er small update. I think I am having contractions..

Yesterday my back started hurting like a dull ache. Its been like that non stop. And today I went to the mall and walked around and couldn't even make it to two stores I had to sit down. I feel a sharp pain really low in my pelvis. It was about every 5 or 10 min for the last couple hours. I kinda feel like I have to go to the bathroom but I can't go. I have been having discharge all day too tmi! I don't know if I should go to the ER or wait. Its not severe pain like I am crying or anything but it is definitely not pain I felt before.

    Call ur doctor hun and if your in ur 3rd tri you would go to labor and delivery not the er

    36 weeks 5 days. I don't have a number directly to my dr.. There office is not open right now. Maybe I should call labor and delivery. I might go in. I take blood thinners and my next dose is at 1230 so I don't wanna take it if I am starting to go into labor. I don't know what to do.

    Call L&D and tell them what's going on..they'll probably tell you to come in.

    You could try calling your doctors office even though they are closed, sometimes it'll connect you to a call service for an on call doc or give you a phone number to call.

    With the blood thinners definitely check as it will restrict pain management options etc if you do have them then go in. They can work around it though so don't stress and good luck.

    I am at the er. I am having contractions. They have me hooked up to an IV for fluids to see if they can get the contractions to stop. I am not dilated any further. They said she is having an unresponsive nst though. So we are waiting for an ultrasound tech to come do an ultrasound. :/

    Good luck! If the ultrasound comes out good, and the contractions stop they will send you home more than likely. They just want to check if baby is getting enough through the cord.

    @Mama_Kat is something I have experience with as my wife was on blood thinners with all 3 pregnancies lol. I try help where I can and shut up the rest of the time lol.

    They did the ultrasound and baby only scored a 6/8 on the biometric profile I think it's called. She wasnt practicing breathing. They are admitting me and keeping me over night to monitor me and baby. :( I hope she is ok. I don't know what it means really!

    @rjr33 Don't panic hun. I'm sure the baby is fine, she just isn't ready to come out yet, and yet, labor has seemingly been triggered. Maybe she was just being lazy or sleeping? They will probably repeat the ultrasound in the morning and redo the biophysical profile. *hugs* Positive thoughts!!!!

    Ughh I haven't even slept yet! The baby finally perked up once they put oxygen on me and the contractions stopped after they got some fluids in me. I get to go home now!! I have to come back tomorrow to do a nst and if baby is unresponsive then they'll do another ultrasound and go from there. My dr said she wants to watch me closely the next few days. She really wants me to get to 37 weeks. I hope baby is ok. :( Thanks for all your thoughts!
