anatomy scan :/

So I had my first scan at 19 wks. They called a couple days later and said they didnt get good pictures of the brain and heart so I went back at 21 wks. Im now 23 wks and got a calk today saying they still didnt get good enough pictures and need me to see a specialist bc there equiptment is more high tech and can get a better shot at baby. So I made an appointment for tomorrow at 3 for this pregnancy and fetal medicine dr. to do another scan :/ if something was wrong do you think they would wait to.tell me when they had the final results or do you think they would have told me today if something looked wrong and wanted to double check? I do have an anterior placenta maybe there old machine isnt good enough to look through that and see the baby well enough? Idk im making stuff up so I dont freak out :0

    Awe hun. I'm sure everything is ok. They hopefully would've told you something if they thought something was wrong.

    Thats what im hoping @trixiesmom8 but the nurse on the phone was talking to me so weirdly nice like my dog died idk im prolly looking to much into it ...i hope

    It's probly just nerves, don't let your mind get to you. Think of it as you get to see baby again and try not to stress about it.

    Thanks @mama_kat thats what my sister said...the same thing happened with grayson and I had to go back but they got it the second time. My sister said maybe for insurance reasons since they already tried twice with their machine they just give up and have me go somewhere where they know the machine can do it

    Maybe the nurse was being extra nice because she didn't want to be chewed out by a hormonal, pregnant lady. Lol If they suspect anything, no they won't tell you until they can confirm it. Why make you worry if they aren't sure what they are seeing? Relax and just enjoy that you get to see your baby again tmw :) hugs.

    I know when I went they almost couldn't get the heart and said if he didn't turn I'd have to come back. With my daughter the equipment at the ob office was older so I had to go to a perinatal center. Now my sister got all hers done at the ob's office so I think it depends on where you go. I wouldn't worry.

    Same thing happened to me. I had 3 anatomy scans and my baby boy just turned one and he's perfect :)
