Hi Ladies!! So I'm new to this site but I've been reading posts and everyone seems so friendly and supportive!!!! So I'm ttc my first!!! I've been trying since November and no luck yet :( my af is schedule to start tomorrow and I'm hoping she want come so I can receive a bfp ;) oh how wonderful that would be lol I've seem my share of bfn and I'm not looking forward to that feeling again!!! So ladies if you have any advice feel free to share!! I'm all ears

    Welcome to pregly!!! I hope your AF does not show up and you get your BFP!!! When are you testing? Im 27 weeks with baby #2! Third pregnancy, second baby, both girls :) good luck and keep me updated sweetie!!! Praying you get your BFP! Sticky baby dust sent your way! :)

    @ttcamiracle use http://countdowntopregnancy.com if you aren't already. If you know the length of your cycle it can really help you pinpoint when you ovulate which is key to successful ttc.

    I conceived the first cycle using that site. Unfortunately I had a miscarriage last month but I am keeping faith that a special baby is waiting on my husband and I.

    @kayleeandamiyahsmommy thanks alot!!! I hope she doesn't show either!!! So if she doesn't I guess I'll test sometime after tomorrow I will def keep you updated!!! Btw I've heard of baby dust but never sticky baby dust lol I like that :)

    @dollfacemommi I'm gonna check out that site right now!! I'm sorry to hear about your m/c!! I know that must have been difficult!! I'm trusting that God will provide for you again!!!

    @ttcamiracle honestly it wasn't because I really didn't get attached. Don't get me wrong I was thrilled. Chris and I really want this but I had an ectopic pregnancy in 2008 and because of that experience I learned not to get too attached til I know baby is okay. Now that loss was a crusher...never thought I'd live such a nightmare. Plus this time I m/c'd exactly 1 week after finding out I was even baking so I was only aware of the pregnancy for a small amount of time.

    I am just thankful that we can conceive on our own. Now we just have to patiently wait on The Lord to bless us with a special baby just for us. Sometimes it's hard to wait when you want something so bad but I know in my heart God knows best. I trust his judgement and I know Chris and I will be daddy and mommy before we know it.:-)

    Hey hun don't get discouraged my fiance n I had been trying for 3 years .but i recently round out i was pregnant..i hardly help using this app called period tracker..it really helped me determine my fertile days and when i would ovulate. GOOD LUCK N STAY PRAYED UP!!

    @dollfacemommi Girl you are strong!!! What an inspiration you are!!!! I like that you count your blessings rather than your flaws!! So many things we could complain about but why when God has done so much more!!! Your positive attitude will bring you far!!! I can tell that you and Chris will be great parents soon ;) so is it his first child too

    @juicy143 wow 3 years!! So did you just kind of take your mind off of pregnancy and it just happened?? That's a long wait but I know your bundle of joy will be worth it all :) I do have the app my days and woman log so I will def add period tracker thanks

    @ttcamiracle Yes it will be both our first. So we are very anxious and excited for that special day. :X But as far as my strength I have to be strong because cursing or being mad at God isn't going to get me anywhere. With my first loss I was mad for a long time. I just couldn't understand why and I questioned God all the time. As I have matured and grown in my faith I know that some things just aren't meant for our understanding and we should just leave them in God's hands and he will work them out for us.

    I am especially happy this morning. Just woke up and went to the restroom and....Aunt Flow is back!!! I have never been happier to have my period. :p lol So around April we will be trying again. I am about to log on to countdowntopregnancy.com now and start charting this cycle. The first day of your period is considered cycle day 1.

    But I wish you much success ttc. Also start taking a prenatal vitamin and a folic acid supplement as well. I was taking just prenatals in January when I conceived but at the advice of my ob/gyn he said taking an additional folic acid supplement won't hurt. Folic acid significantly reduces the chances that your little one will develop any birth or chromosomal defects Right now I am taking the Nature Made brand Prenatal and Folic Acid vitamin.

    It took about 12 minutes to concieve our youngest and over a year to conceieve the baby I'm carrying now. I gave up hope, my girlfriends were all pregnant and I was so bummed. Finally I just relaxed and stopped tracking ovulation and periods and all the temps and stuff and it happened the very next month. Now I'm 20 weeks!

    @dollfacemommi thanks for all the insight!! I did start the prenatal pills didn't know I should take an additional folic acid so I'll get on top of that!! And I'm excited for you I pray that April is your month!!!! Btw af hasn't come yet she's scheduled for today!! I'll keep you posted!!!

    @nikalia2626 it's funny pregnancies can be so different on the same woman lol congrats on your pregnancy I wish you and your fam the best!! I'm trying to have that same mentality!! Just take my mind off of it and let it flow!! Easier said than done ;)
