  • Using paper plates, cups as much as possible! It sucks when you don't have a dishwasher lol
  • ^^Omg yes lol
  • But I don't think there's such thing :)
  • Crock pot meals.......everyday. lol.:)
Leaving toys in the crib for lo so you can get things done without having to chase lo everywhere.
  • A play yard! Lo can independently play while I get stuff done!
  • I do lots of stuff the night before. I get his and my outfit out for the next day. I pack as much of his lunch together as I can. I fill his bottles with water so that his teachers only have to put the powder in. I prep as much of everything as I can the night before and it helps out a lot, a lot, a lot!
And I'm sorry for my terrible way with words tonight. I am so it of it! I hope it makes sense.
  • Kitchen scissors work wonders for cutting food up into baby size...I always used a pizza cutter until I got real kitchen scissors....amazing and quick lol
  • A pizza cutter!!! Genuis!!

Sitting her in the highchair, dragging it in the bathriom, putting the ipad on the counter and letting her watch cartoons on the ipad while I shower. I'd never get to shower if it werent for the high chair and ipad.

  • I have two in diapers, and I use bags like @gatorbob.. except I use the bags that stuff comes in from the store (like curtains..) and they have zippers on them. I have all diapering necessities for each kid in their own bag, so if I need to change one, I can just grab their bag and not have to dig around for anything. IT also keeps their diapers separated.

I have two (sometimes three) of any otc medicines.. one set for at the house, and one for in the diaper bag. IF they don't feel good before leaving the house, its one less thing to worry about remembering and if we need it while we're out, I already have it.

P.s.-- my son's name is Jasper, too!

  • These are all great!! Keep them coming!!

@gatorbob you always crack me up lol how are you feeling??
  • I keep a container with an assortment of dry snacks in the diaper bag at all times, cheerios, nutrigrain bars, dried cranberries, jello, just in case.
    Saved me many times!!

  • What?? There's tricks!
  • @gatorbob Great post, lol! Too too funny!
  • @gatorbob he's named for my husband's grandfather.. Jasper Maxwell, and we call him Max. How'd did you decide on it? And your Jasper and my daughter are close in age, lol. Max is only two weeks old!

PS- I'm very sorry for your recent loss. I can't imagine going thru that alone. Glad you're feeling a bit better now, tho.
  • I made a "baby first aid kit" for my diaper bag. Literally has creams for every type of rash, stuffs for colds, bandaids- you name it! And I never have to go digging to find something quickly, again!
  • Oh! And the toddler lock app on my Droid! BEST THING EVER! Instantly distracts them. Lol

  • Coffee and yelling! LOL
  • I was hoping somebody would laugh lol @starrxoxo9
  • @gatorbob well that's an interesting story to tell when he asks how he got his name, "Because the alternative was Banjo.." lmbo! I like that he's named for someone, but you've picked a good nickname for him.. same with our Max. That way he has his own identity, but still the sentimental value of a name sake.

Our family is good at coming up with out-there names, too!
  • Yo gabba gabba and her playpen lol

I also put baggies in her diaper bag its so much easier.

I attach toys on the hood of her stroller so its sorta like a mobile but its all plush toys, it keeps her quiet i also put gerber puffs on the tray while we shop so she loves her stroller.

She hates changing tables and wont let me change her on it, so i take her in the dressing room with me and change her in her stroller lol or on the bench (with changing pads of course. ) Lol

When i do my makeup i have to pretend to put it on her or she wont let me do it,

I get everything ready the night before

And during the day she wont let me do ANYtHiNG at all so we play all day. Until i someone is able to watch her for 30 mins while i shower.
