Freddies heal prick test has come back abnormal and the hospital have asked me to come back today to get it re-done. And me being me have googled the test.... Stupid stupid me, I'm now frightened shitless that he has something bad. Fingers crossed for the results to have been contaminated and my little man's ok. X

    Aw hon, thats scary stuff...However, those heel prick tests are notoriously unreliable. Hoping this is just an error. when will you find out?

    Same thing happened with my little boy. Second test came back normal so try not to worry too much. Harder said then done I know cause I freaked out too

    Doctors make mistakes all the time, when my baby was born since she was a big baby they though she had diabetes, after sticking her little heel so many times they said she didn't, then they said she had a thyroid problem.. then when I went to see the specialist he was laughing his ass off and told me the doctor compared my babys results with the adult chart and that it was all a mistake..

    Dont worry... most of the time the person that did it might have done it incorrectly causing the blood to clot and therefore the rrsults are off!

    @ SamiUK @HomeBirthAdvocate @JoshnEviesmum @Janet_2011 @Lacy809 @babyhope7 thanks ladies, I know its probably nothing, the midwife thinks it was insufficient blood but I don't know if she was just trying to make me feel better...he seems the picture of health so I'm just gonna prey that they got the test wrong. Should get the results within a week xxx

    My mw says that happens quite often not enough blood, poor Freddie having to have it twice xxx
