Jail, update

I have an interview as a correctional nurse tomorrow morning. Wish me luck, ladies! I had to search for a new one even though I LOVE being a urology nurse because it isn't paying the bills. Working at the jail can make me up to 36/Hr with all the shift differentials etc. Up from the 15/Hr i am making now. So...I NeED this!!!

That's what I was thinking @RTMommy. The CNAs even make more than that here in my hospital. Are you an RN?

Are you in cali? Average salary for an lpn here is 15-19/Hr. I'm in Virginia.

Yeah that makes sense. Cost of living higher there. Min wage here is 7.25.

I will be working on the weekends. Grateful because I can keep the job that I love. Will work 11p-7a so I can still have tome with the kiddos

they drug tested me in the middle of the interview and will call when the background check comes back. Working seven days a week is going to be difficult, but hopefully only short term until we get back on our feet.
