Yuck! This next couple of weeks are going to suck!

So we have been fighting a mouse problem at our house for about 2 months now. ( We got them when our NASTY neighbors moved from the house to the right of us to the house to the left of us...REALLY WHO DOES THAT!! UGH) anyways.. We had someone come out and spray for fleas and all that and put out stuff for mice. Now i smell a dead one in the kitchen. I fear its in the air duct or whatever there called. I looked online and they say you have to ventilate and wait for the smell to go away and it takes like 2-3 weeks. DISGUSTING! Any one have any different ideas?

I actually poured carpet fresh in ours (grew up on a farm in OK- we had plenty of mice!). It will either help or do nothing, but doesn't typically worsen the issue!
