i have a question about my babys race

Ok, here's the deal, my hubby and I were seperated, I messed up and got involved with this dumb guy, slept with him, and got pregnant. Stupid me I know, the thing is there was two nights where I slept with my hubby, during the month I got pregnant. The other guy is black, and my hubby is white. Long story short, me and my hubby are/and have been back together, he knows most likely its not his, even if it is the other guys, he will have no part in our or my babys life. Sooo, my question is, do you think a 3d/4d ultrasound could possibly tell me if my daughter is mixed? Like id rather know now, then at birth. Help! Lol

    Thanks! I'm going anyway, but I'm just really hoping to know, not that it will change anything, but maybe for my husbands family to handle it better....

    We could tell my daughter looked like her dad from 3D/4D ultrasound.

    Yeah that's what I was gonna say like MomE2A09X11. Maybe you could tell just by seeing who the baby looks like already. I really hope it ends up being your husband's baby.

    There are only 3 skull types, essentially white, black, and asian... so they should be able to tell! Good luck

    Me too. Desperatly. but I really don't think that's the case. Were "ok" with it, just we have to deal with everybody elses opinions, and comments, and I don't wanna hear them.

    Not by ultrasound but by bloods they can! My sis takes bloods at the antinatal clinic :)

    I thought they were like the same.. 4d maybe moving pictures and not just pics....I had one at 16 weeks, but the facial features sent that clear.

    @ mama_underpants My opinion is that you have blood drawn an tested. Because your baby is still forming an the skull isnt fully formed or together right now. So it might be better to have the blood tested. Were u already pregnant when you decided to sleep with your husband again?

    Im not sure about the answer to your question but im in kinda the same situation, my husband& I werent together, I met a guy,made dumb decisions & now im pregnant& the other guy is gone cuz he wanted me to get an abortion& I couldnt do it. This baby is def gonna look different than my other kids too.

    No I wasn't pregnant at the time of me sleeping with my hubby. And I wanna go off facial features and not skull. @ honeybee,, it sucks. But my mom says it happens more then you think but, the different race will be a issue. I mean it could be my husbands. But I highly doubt it.

    It prob does happen alot I just dont kno anybody thats gone through anything like this as far as bein married but havin a baby w/someone else & ive been feeling like I dont have anyone who understands. My kids are all mixed w/black & white& this one is too but the daddy is really light skinned w/green eyes so it will prob look alot different than my other kids.
    Also my cousin has 2 kids that are white& her youngest is mixed & her kids dont even seem to notice that she looks different than them.

    If you can see my picture its my son at 20 weeks 3d. He looks more like me. My daughter looked like her dad and now at 15 months still does. 3d and 4d look the same. @suziq and @mama_underpants

    What my mom told me was (a. The husband has no idea its not his, he might have suspisicoins, but won't say anything. Or (b. He knows and chooses to stay with her. But the child don't look to different. Yours will better blend then mine! Lol this will be my 1st mixed baby, and I have a blonde 8 yr old stepson, and 3 yr old red head, and a 19 month old brunette! Lol.

    Just my tidbit, I took osteology not too long ago...the thing is that baby skulls look nothing like adult skulls. Without features matured all the way, you cannot tell a skull from female or male or what particular ethnic characteristics the skull may be from. Even on an adult skull it is ify to sex or say what ethnic group, because traits differ on each individual skull so much. So I would go for the blood test or a 3d picture to see what parent's features the baby has :)
